Urgent Care Delaware provides same-day care for most minor illnesses and injuries. Conditions treated include animal and insect bites and stings, asthma flare-ups (wheezing, not improving with inhalers, no difficulty breathing), cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms (body ache, congestion, cough, fever, sinus infection, sore throat), cuts, bruises or may need stitches, earache and infection, injuries (possible broken bones, sprains, dislocations), minor allergic reactions, minor burns, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea without bleeding, abdominal pain or dehydration, minor nosebleeds, pink-eye, red eye, itching, rashes, sexually transmitted diseases with symptoms, sprains and strains, suture/staple removal, urinary, kidney, and bladder infections, and wound check (increased pain, tenderness, redness, swelling or warmth around the cut or injury, fever, or other changes0. Specialty Services Pavilion includes: cardiology, orthopedics, rheumatology, geriatrics, gastroenterology, neurology, ophthalmology, dermatology, nutrition, and ENT. Cancer Care Pavilion includes: chemotherapy and radiation therapy as well as other aspects of cancer care. Also located in the Outpatient Plaza is the pharmacy, which can fill prescriptions written by any Metro doctor.
