Provides assessment, training, and treatment to improve hearing for those who are hearing impaired. Rehabilitation services focus on adjusting to hearing loss, making the best use of hearing aids, exploring assistive devices, managing conversations, and taking charge of communication. Also provides services to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Speech disorders occur when a person has difficulty producing speech sounds correctly or fluently (such as stuttering) or has problems with their voice or resonance. Language disorders occur when a person has trouble understanding others, sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings. Social communication disorders may include problems communicating for social purposes (like greeting, commenting, asking questions), talking in different ways to suit the listener and setting, and following rules for conversation and storytelling. Swallowing disorders are feeding and swallowing difficulties, which may follow an illness, surgery, stroke, or injury.

Provides comprehensive medical services and resources for children who have been sexually abused, physically abused, witnessed violence, or was a victim of human trafficking. Services include the following:

• Forensice interview. Recorded and shared with appropriate professionals, such as law enforcement, Children Services, prosecutor, physician, etc.
• Sexual assault medical exam on site, with pediatric SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) nurse. All exams reviewed by Dr. Paul McPherson from Akron Children's Hospital.
• Case Manager provides victim's advocacy, with referrals and information to additional community resources.

Provides pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing and treatment, and information about adoption and parenting. The Center's patients may qualify for a wide range of services, including education classes, baby formula, baby wipes, and diapers.

Provides medical care for teens. Services include birth control, pregnancy tests, gynecology services, family planning counseling, STD testing and treatment including HIV testing, and school and work physicals. May be able to provide clients with a limited supply of some prescriptions written by Free Clinic physicians. Will also help clients access and complete paperwork for patient assistance programs that provide prescriptions.

Offers a ninety-two (92) bed facility including both private and semi-private rooms. 24-hour nursing care is available. Therapy is based on referral from a physician; inpatient and outpatient physical, occupational, speech, and aquatic therapies are offered. Activities and various ancillary services are included. Also offers a secured memory loss unit with twenty-five (25) beds and an enclosed patio garden.

The Health Center is a patient-centered medical home offering preventive and primary care to patients of all ages. Medical services will include, but are not limited to: treatment of illness such as ear aches, colds, sore throats, sinus infections and management of chronic disease such as diabetes; physical exams for work, school and sports; well-child exams; immunizations for children and adults; and women’s health including pregnancy tests and Pap tests. Dental services include cleanings, fillings, sealants, extractions, x-rays, fluoride treatments, oral health exams and oral cancer screenings. Other clinical services include substance abuse treatment and counseling services. Health Center staff will also connect patients with other community services that can help them, including tobacco cessation classes and nutrition counseling. Medical services are available at the East Main Street Danville Health Center location.

Service includes assistance from registered dieticians, who are also diabetes educators, and who can teach meal planning, diet modification, and weight control.
