OIC offers education,vocational training, and workforce preparation to eligible youth and adults. Educational services can assist individuals in achieving their high school diploma (youth 16-21). OIC currently offers Forklift and Certified Logistics Training.

Provides the following services: aptitude and proficiency testing, employment counseling, job referral, and national job bank.

Provides vocational assessments.

Provides acute rehabilitation services a 44 bed inpatient rehab unit as well as outpatient services. Offers physical, occupational, speech, vocational, and recreational therapies.

Provides diagnostic evaluations, vocational counseling, job placement/counseling, information and referral.

Provides a vocational outreach specialist network with employers and consumers to assist with the appropriate career opportunities. DCRC will work with consumers on developing a resume and other job-seeking skills to help provide a variety of employment-related training and support, and continue to provide support following employment. DCRC will also provide employers with technology and technological support resources to facilitate communication with deaf employees.

Programs include but are not limited to industrial maintenance, tool and die programs, technical skills, computer applications, human resource development, training management, small business management, farm business planning and analysis, public safety services and health services.

Assesses individuals interests and skills for employment. Develops employability plans, provides counseling, career readiness training, remedial education classroom. Offers on-the-job search assistance and self-directed placement.

Provides vocational support services in a variety of ways. For those enrolled in OOD, DCRC can offer skills training to help get a job or a better job. Consumers can learn how to write an effective resume, fill out applications, and practice interview skills. DCRC will advocate for support services and teach consumers to advocate for their needs.

Provides diagnostic evaluations, vocational counseling, job placement/counseling, information and referral, and other services as appropriate to achieve a vocational goal. Also may provide reader service for students.

Offers a broad range of assessment, training and job placement services and provide on-on-one support to reach personal employment goals.

Provides assistance in skills assessment, resume writing, and finding employment spouses of active duty military & civilians.

A three hour session which tests interests, abilities, aptitudes, and values that are then measured, computer-scored, and analyzed by a vocational counselor on an individualized basis. The results help determine an appropriate job and will include a vocational recommendation.

Provides diagnostic evaluation for vocational handicap. Also provides vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities.

The Fast Forward Re-engagement Center (FFRC) assists youth, who are out of school, not attending regularly or credit deficient to identify a best fit academic option to complete a high school credential and career pathway. FFRC provides one central location in a safe space for students and families to access the resources and coaching needed to re-enroll in school and get back on track to graduation. Established in 2001 and nationally recognized as a one-of-a-kind resource center for out-of-school youth, the FFRC connects with students and families by listening and offering support to help them get back on track for graduation. This is a county-wide collaborative partnership with traditional and non-traditional schools, as well as, community organizations and youth workforce development agencies throughout Montgomery County.

The Employment Services program offers a broad range of assessment, training and job placement services and provide on-on-one support to reach personal employment goals. Work Assessments offer opportunities for "job tryouts" with community-based employers to determine areas of interest and existing skill sets. Job Development focuses on the outcome of community job placement. Individuals may receive assistance with resume development, interview proficiency, job search techniques and employer advocacy. Job Coaching assists individuals to develop the skills to be successful in community employment by offering supplemental training and oversight to solidify job performance. Transition Services assist students, ages 14-22, with preparation for employment via career exploration and job readiness training. Job club, Summer Youth and Project SEARCH programs were designed specifically to achieve the employment goals of students transitioning into the workforce. We also provide Job Readiness and Career Exploration classes for Jr. High and High School students from throughout our service area.

Offers vocational assessments that show how work may impact individual benefits for those who receive public benefits as well as assessing their interest in and skills for specific jobs. Helps with all aspects of job training, search, preparation, and supportive placement for disabled individuals.
