Provides computer equipped employment resource areas where people can prepare resumes and cover letters for employment, develop or enhance clerical skills using software tutorials, surf the Internet for employment opportunities, and obtain testing in reading and math skills, typing, etc.

DCRC provides vocational support services in a variety of ways. For those enrolled in OOD, DCRC can provide skills training to help get a job or a better job. Consumers can learn how to write an effective resume, fill out applications, and practice interview skills. DCRC will advocate for support services and teach consumers to advocate for their needs. Once the consumer has a job, DCRC can provide on-the-job support through the training and orientation period. DCRC also has general educational workshops related to vocational development open to all.

Helps clients develop the personal and social skills necessary for their success in acquiring work and performing on the job. Students who complete Job Readiness may progress to Job Placement. Group and individual sessions include how to look for a job, how to complete a job application, skills for the job interview, dressing for employment, conflict in the workplace, employer expectations and employee rights, work ethics, and job retention.

All education students can be referred to other May Dugan programming for social service, food assistance, and counseling.
