We offer many volunteer opportunities for those looking to enrich the lives of older adults, either through direct interaction, such as calling Bingo, or indirect support, such as maintaining the flower beds. Our Volunteer Coordinator can also connect folks with other volunteer opportunities within the community. Depending on the work being done, potential volunteers may be subject to a background check.

Provides pet food and pet supplies to screened families who are going through a financial hardship. Food is appropriate for animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and birds. Provides names and numbers of low cost clinics for spay/neuter and shots for pet owners experiencing financial hardship.

Provides dog training for those in need.

UW 211 Greater Toledo

Provides food assistance for people who are having temporary financial difficulties caring for their dogs. Clients may visit once every 30 days.

LSS 211 Central Ohio

Pet owners who need assistance with dog/cat food can stop by the shelter 1x per month for help. Please bring your ID.

Provides dry and canned dog and cat food to those in need. Pantry access is based on availability of donated food.

Provides temporary assistance to residents of Medina County who need help feeding their pets. Each request for assistance is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The JT Callander Bright Spot Clinic is designed to serve unsheltered pet owners and income-qualified families living in Licking County. The clinic provides a drop in veterinary wellness clinic. Licensed veterinarians from Licking County Humane Society will provide the services offered at the clinic.

Provides assistance in the form of financial support, referrals for spay and neuter services, pet supplies and pet care services. Supplies may include new or gently used pet accessories such as collars, leashes, harnesses, beds, food bowls, litter, litter boxes, pee pads, toys, crates, carriers, etc.
