Women’s Center–East offers free medical-quality pregnancy tests as well as ultrasound evaluations, abortion information, and consulting on pregnancy decisions. All services are free and confidential to ensure that decisions made about a client's health are based upon sound, factual medical information in a comfortable, professional center. Also offers information about abortion and alternatives, free ultrasounds, post-abortion support and mentoring services. Women's Center-Lebanon provides client services for someone facing an unplanned pregnancy. Services are free and confidential and are tailored to help the client think through all options, including abortion, adoption and parenting. Women's Center-Lebanon offers abortion alternatives including pregnancy tests and ultrasounds to determine the fetus age, viability and more. Offers free pregnancy tests and assistance, free ultrasounds, post-abortion support, and mentoring services. Also offers free material assistance, such as infant formula, diapers, infant needs, etc. Quantities and ability to earn material assistance are determined by agency.

Handles special needs adoptions, such as older children, children with behavioral issues, and children with disabilities and/or health issues. Recruits, prepares, trains, educates and supports prospective adoptive parents, including relative caregivers seeking to adopt. Adoption specialists provide a complete adoption home study. Offers individual and family counseling for foster-to-adopt and post-adoptive families. Assists adoptive families strengthen relationships and focus on specific mental health needs of the child.

Provides adoption services for families and children, including parent training, home study assessments, matching and post-placement supports. Also provides advocacy services and promotes community awareness of the needs faced by children in foster care who are waiting for adoptive families.

Pre-Arranged/Targeted Adoption: Available to assist adopting couples, obstetricians, attorneys or others with the placement of a child in a pre-arranged adoption circumstance. In these instances, a source other than House of New Hope may find a birth parent wishing to place with a particular adopting couple who may or may not be currently adopting through House of New Hope. It may be necessary to involve House of New Hope due to interstate or jurisdictional problems, as a way of maintaining a relationship with birth parents, or simply as a resource to provide birth parent services, counseling, home study and post-placement services. Post-Adoption Services: After adoptions are finalized, some families find they need additional support to help children succeed in their home and to help their children transition through some life challenges. House of New Hope provides post-adoption services that are tailor-made to your family’s specific needs.

Provides subsidy to assist Ohio families after the finalization of their adoption. The subsidy is available to all adoptive families regardless of the type of adoption (international, attorney, public or private agency), with the exception of step-parent adoptions. The child DOES NOT have to meet either the federal or state definition of special needs to receive this subsidy. Each child may be eligible for up to $10,000 per year ($15,000 if residential treatment is recommended by a qualified professional).

Women’s Center–Dayton offers abortion alternatives including free pregnancy tests and ultrasound scans to those who qualify. Free and confidential consultations are provided to clients who are pregnant so can understand options: adoption, abortion, or parenting. Program provides a 24 hour helpline, free pregnancy test and assistance, free ultrasound, post-abortion support, information about abortion alternatives and mentoring services. Material assistance: free infant formula and diapers, baby and infant equipment. Quantities and ability to earn material assistance are determined by agency.

Works to recruit potential adoptive families at many venues, and holds orientation/education meetings for these families.
