Holiday assistance with $50 gift cards is available to eligible veterans and/or their families. If an individual/family received a gift card in November, they are ineligible to receive a gift card in December.
The Salvation Army Dayton Kroc Center offers two avenues to apply for Christmas Food Assistance. Please review the information below to determine which of the following two options is best for you and your family.
Work with the Hispanic and Multi-cultural communities and their families through discussion and collaboration to provide information on options and referrals to Behavioral Health professionals, facilities, and organizations specializing in the client's needs.

The Angel Tree Program provides gifts for children of income-eligible families in Mercer County, with the goal to provide two toys and one outfit. Registration for the program will open in November. Provides toys at Christmas time to income and age eligible children. The toys are distributed to parents one week prior to Christmas. Eligibility requirements for the program are total household income at or below 175% of poverty level and children ages 1-14. Must bring documentation of the ages of the child or children and proof of income for the last 30 days.

Christmas Baskets are offered containing food, frozen meats, perishable items, toys, shoes and clothing vouchers donated by The Clothesline for income eligible Tipp City, Bethel and Monroe Township residents.

Offering Thanksgiving Food Baskets for families in need living in the Buckeye Lake Food Pantry area. For current clients, we already have their paperwork and they just need to let us know. If they are not a current food pantry client, we will need them to complete a CBSG form prior to being put on the list. Will then call them and give them a pickup time for the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week.
