The exchanges (or “drop off – pick-ups”) are conducted in a controlled and structured setting by monitors who ensure the security and ease of the exchange, and who also facilitate necessary interaction between parties. Also includes related case management to address the needs and challenges of the family, scheduling, communication between the parties, court order / parenting plan enforcement, problem solving, etc.

Offers supervised locations with volunteer monitors for non-custodial parents to visit with their children.

The Child Custody and E-Commerce Safe Exchange Zone is offered in the annex parking of Marion City Hall, located on the East side of the former Recreation Center. This area is under video surveillance of the Marion City Hall camera systems which can be viewed by MPD personnel and our Communications Center to increase the safety of those exchanging children or engaging in e-commerce sales. This Safe Exchange Zone has two dedicated parking spots with posted signage as seen in the pictures. These parking spots should only be used by persons exchanging children or those engaging in e-commerce. If the designated spots are taken, you should use a nearby parking spot within this "zone". Family Court Personnel will not be on hand and MPD Officers will not be present unless such oversight is needed due to a protection order or similar circumstances. Persons who intend to use this Safe Exchange Zone do not need to ask permission or notify law enforcement unless you KNOW that you will need an officer due to the presence of a protection order or similar circumstances. If your circumstances do involve a protection order, you should call MPD Dispatch 740-387-2525 on your way to MPD to ensure we have an officer available to assist in the exchange.

On-site monitoring of parent-child interaction in a safe, family friendly, neutral environment. Program provides support, guidance and assistance to families who have experienced some type of trauma such as abuse, neglect, violence, divorce, separation or custody issues that can cause stress or difficulties. Actual location of visitation site is 318 Mahoning Avenue NW Warren, OH 44485. Admin/Office is located inside Someplace Safe.

Provides supervised visitations for children in foster care who have court ordered visits established through Medina County Job and Family Services. Assists in family reunification by teaching parents mentoring skills and helps families build appropriate parent-child relationships.

The Buckeye Ranch Visitation and Exchange Program, known as "Common Ground", offers families a comfortable and reassuring atmosphere in which safe, structured, and neutral visitation and safe exchanges can be provided. Families from all walks of life are ordered to have visitation and exchanges for various reasons. The Buckeye Ranch Visitation and Exchange Program offers the following services: Supervised Visitation – On-site visitations with a trained monitor who is present with the child(ren) at all times. Monitored Visitation – On-site monitored visitation with a trained monitor who assists, when needed, and periodically checks in on the visitation. Safe Exchanges - On-site supervised exchange of child(ren) between custodial and non-custodial parents/parties.

Provides a safe, friendly and clean environment for visitations to occur. We offer numerous age appropriate activities as well as basic parenting skills. We complete a neutral observation of each visit, consisting of a detailed document know as the monitoring report form. We correspond, at a minimum, on a weekly basis, providing this document as well as any concerns about the progress of the visits.
