Services include Criminal/Traffic, Civil, Probation, Community Work Service, Mediation and Weddings.

Court handles traffic, misdemeanor criminal and civil cases and initial court appearances and preliminary hearings on felony cases. Judges conduct Specialized Dockets in drug and alcohol cases, domestic violence cases, mental health cases and veterans cases. Performs civil marriage ceremonies on the last Wednesday of each month pending schedule availability. Small claims court exists to assist laypersons (non-attorneys) in resolving minor disputes involving amounts less than $6000. Jury trials are not allowed and cases are heard by a Magistrate. Probation is assigned through the Municipal Court System.

Civil marriage ceremonies are conducted by judges. Witnesses are not required. Couples may bring family, friends, and children to the wedding.

Judge Sunderman and Judge Hemmeter perform marriage ceremonies at the Delaware Municipal Court. Either the bride or groom must be a Delaware County resident. Prior to the marriage ceremony, a marriage license must be obtained from the Delaware County Probate Court, telephone 740-833-2680. The ceremony must be scheduled within 60 days from the date the license is issued. The license needs to be present on the day of ceremony. Family and friends may appear in court to share the event, and witnesses are not needed. Pictures are permitted.

Weddings are performed by appointment only at 8:15am Monday through Friday. At least one of the parties must be a Shelby County resident and a marriage license must have been purchased prior to the ceremony.

Presides over: Mayor's office, municipally owned and operated water, sewer, and electric services; building and zoning permits; and Mayor's Court. Performs civil marriages in village hall or in the surrounding area.

Presides over the Village of Bellville: Mayor's office, Water and Waste Water Department, Parks, Building and Ground Maintenance, Street Department, Police Department and Village Income Tax Department. Does civil marriages in Village Hall or within surrounding area.

Presides over the Village of Shiloh: Mayor's Office, Fiscal Department, Utility Department, Building and Ground Maintenance, and Street Department.
