Provides a variety of recreational activities/classes for the public. Included are golf, swimming, tennis, water exercise, swimming instruction for parents and their young children, physical fitness, cardio-kickboxing, and team sports at some locations. Each campus also has a walking track with specific exercise stations.

Offers youth the opportunity to be part of a baseball or softball team. Supplies participants with uniforms and equipment, offers opportunities for college scholarships and other awards, and provides insurance coverage while playing. Conducts social awareness programs for youth participants that aim to develop leadership skills and stress the value of education and avoidance of substance abuse. Maintains softball leagues for adult teams. Will try to place individual adults on a team if adult does not sign up as part of one. Also provides an rainout hotline.

Nehemiah University is the educational outreach ministry of The Gospel Mission, Inc. The primary goal of the university is to introduce people to Christ and strengthen their relationship with Him. The school brings together aspects of academic learning as well as spiritual growth and development. All cost is paid for by generous volunteers, supporters and partner churches who want to invest in the people of the city.
