Offers a variety of leisure time activities for all ages. Maintains over 100 acres of park land, a soccer complex, 16 baseball/softball fields, and other park facilities. Has numerous sports, activities, and leagues including volleyball, tennis, golf, and soccer. Publishes a newsletter which provides information on programs being offered.

Provides exercise, entertainment, and recreation through 20 city park areas. Sponsors softball leagues and takes reservations for park use. Provides proper operation and maintenance of city-owned buildings grounds and cemeteries.

Offers nature parks and programs, neighborhood parks with play equipment, and community parks to the public.
