Visit a century-old City Hall and Marketplace that has become the new home for Clark County/Springfield's heritage. Priceless mementos have been assembled to open an exciting window on seven generations of fascinating history. Exhibit galleries, an archive and research library, meeting facilities, a museum store and restaurant are all housed in the Heritage Center.

Offers the opportunity for individuals and groups to volunteers to assist with the organization. Includes opportunities for nature clean up, supporting canoe, bicycle, and fishing activities, and assisting with a variety of fundraising events.

Services provided: *Exhibits include artwork from the permanent collection, changing exhibits featuring regional and national artists, and the Chakers Interactive Art Lab with hands-on art exploration activities for all ages. *Classes for adults and children include: art exploration, drawing, painting, stained glass, fiber arts; museum members receive a discount. *An art library is available to the public for research in all facets of art.

Volunteers participate in a number of activities including working in the museum store, acting as tour guides, assisting at special events, and interpreting. Training is provided.
