Provides medical stabilization services for people with alcohol withdrawl symptoms. The service provides inpatient care and observation, usually 3-5 days. Discharge planning includes referrals to the appropriate community based treatment programs. Client may be placed on a wait list, only limited number of beds available.
Topics include addiction, recovery, and treatment, how the recovery process affects current and future family relationships, triggers and cravings, stages of family recovery, communication traps, setting boundaries, and rebuilding trust.

It is a series of 12 weekly classes structured to help caregivers understand and support individuals with serious mental illness while maintaining their own well-being. Deputies with C.I.T. Training are available to assist mentally ill individuals and their families during a crisis. They can make referrals to Behavioral Healthcare Partners of Central Ohio or other mental health agencies. They will also direct clients to mental health hospitalization.
Provides training on naloxone administration and overdose education.
Assist callers by addressing co-parenting challenges, parental abduction prevention, domestic violence, child abuse or neglect concerns, and parenting styles. Case managers guide callers on issues such as creating workable parenting plans (custody and visitation), building communication and parenting skill sets, understanding legal options and learning how to navigate the court and support systems. The option of mediation is assessed and offered when appropriate.

Once an appointment is scheduled, client will be required to complete a financial intake where payer sources are identified and other information is collected, including completion of health & outcome forms, then will meet with a licensed mental health staff member to complete a diagnostic assessment. This might carry over to the second appointment depending on the circumstances. A counselor/therapist will then be assigned to the client’s case.

Behavioral Health Emergency Services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week through the emergency departments of our hospitals. Services provided: •An Emergency Department physician provides a medical examination first to rule out any medical concerns. •He or she then refers you or your loved ones to the psychiatric social worker for an assessment. •Once needs are assessed, the best, most appropriate services are recommended. The Team is made up of people who have lost a loved one to suicide, behavioral health professionals, and concerned community members. Crisis Response Outreach is provided when a death by suicide occurs. LOSS Team volunteers trained in crisis response will visit and provide support to loved ones in the immediate hours after they have lost someone to suicide. Ongoing outreach is offered by LOSS Team volunteers, who will visit with individuals affected by a suicide death in the days following that loss. LOSS Team volunteers will also prepare support resources and mail or personally deliver them.
