Kettering Health Behavioral Medical Center is a comprehensive behavioral health campus offering a continuum of mental health services, including acute mental health and co-occurring (mental health and substance use) inpatient adult care, adult intensive outpatient programs, outpatient counseling, and outpatient medication management appointments. What Does Help Look Like We offer a wide range of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness training, family education and counseling, and fitness and wellness education. When you’re in outpatient mental health treatment, whether you are stepping down from inpatient care or beginning treatment as an outpatient, your plan will include one of two programs. Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) For people who need to maintain a work, home, or school schedule, our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers comprehensive outpatient services in a day or evening format. Typically, this program lasts two to four weeks and meets five to six days a week. You’ll participate in several sessions each day, including individual, group, and family therapy. You’ll also have opportunities to enjoy our beautiful grounds and take part in holistic activities like yoga, music, and art. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Your treatment plan may include our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), which meets three to five days a week for a minimum of nine hours per week. This program offers group and family therapy, as well as medication management, skill development, and long-term recovery planning. Before you complete the program, we’ll make sure that any ongoing treatment you need is aligned with your aftercare provider. Some of the discussion areas for outpatient mental health treatment include triggers and warning signs, self-identity and self-esteem, coping skills, relapse stages and prevention, and understanding emotions and moods.

Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital

Harbor offers individual and group counseling, as well as case management services at home and in the community help individuals develop skills needed to stay healthy and effectively cope with emotional or behavioral problems.

Individual counseling sessions will take at least 1 hour. There are 4 different types of groups. The first is Intensive-Outpatient which is three days a week for 3 hours a day. The second group is our Induction group. This will be one hour, one day a week for 30 days. The next is Stabilization group. This will be held once a week for an hour and will go for a year or more. The last group is Maintenance group. This will be once a week and last an hour.

Provides care involving one or more mental health services that do not require a prolonged stay in a facility. Services can include individual counseling, group therapy, medication consultations, and psychiatry. Treatment can be short-term or long-term care plans. Provides family support and individual support services using ASL (not an interpreter). These services are available for consumers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Allows males in confidentiality to explore issues related to physical, mental and emotional behaviors which can lead to destruction. Curriculum is composed of four modules: Who's controlling your mind, building and maintaining relationships, are you a leader, and understanding the roles of fatherhood and parenting.
