Provides free Naloxone/Narcan Kits and Fentanyl Test Strips. Naloxone is a prescribed nasal inhalant that stops and reverses an opioid overdose. Opiates can include fentanyl, heroin, methadone, percocet, vicodin, and oxycontin. Also has an opioid rescue box/opioid overdose emergency kit outside on the building that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Provides a kit that contains strips that test for the presence of fentanyl in an opiate, naloxone, a prescribed nasal inhalant that reverses an opioid overdose. Kit includes 2 vials of medication, 2 nasal attachements, an instructional DVD, and a small tip sheet on how to recognize an overdose. Will receive instruction on how to recognize and respond to an overdose (as well as distinguish between different types of overdose) and how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse the opioid overdose.

Provides training and education on the safe and proper use of Narcan in overdose prevention. Narcan is an antidote to opioid/opiate overdoses including Heroin and prescription painkillers (Percocet, OxyContin, Oxycodone, Vicodin, Morphine, Fentanyl and so forth). Also offers Fentanyl test strips that show whether fentanyl, carfentanil, or other related dangerous chemicals are mixed in with street drugs.

Includes wound care kits (gauze, non-stick pads, antibiotic ointment, and saline), safer sex kits (condoms and lubricant), take home tests (fentanyl, pregnancy, and HIV), personal sharps container, and safer use kits for smoking (bubbler/pipe, alcohol wipes, screens, mouthpiece) as well injection (cooker, filters, alcohol pads, antibiotic ointment, saline, and bandages.

Coalition led by the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board. Members are health professionals, parents, educators, elected officials, merchants, business members, police, administrators, and students who are concerned about alcohol, tobacco, and drug use among school-age children in Trumbull County. ASAP Opiate Task Force meets monthly. Focus are youth education, identifying neighborhoods experiencing high rates of drug related crimes and overdoses, providing community education, and providing education to medical professionals.

Provides harm reduction services for individuals who inject drugs. Syringe services are offered once per week in person. Harm reduction supplies are available 24 hours/7 days a week by vending machine outside of rear entrance.
Provides a kit that includes naloxone, an antidote to an opiate overdose. Kit is available by either injection or nasal spray. Service includes a (required) training video.
The Logan County Health Department is a distributor of the drug, Naloxone, as a part of the Ohio Department of Health's Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) program. Anyone wishing to get the drug must go through a short training to go over the risk factors and how to use the kit and what follow up may be necessary. Free, virtual classes are available.
Free Narcan is available at the HAPCAP Glouster office for those interested.
Offers a one-for-one exchange of syringes, free naloxone, and referrals to treatment and other services.
Offer comprehensive psychiatric, counseling and case management services, various support services, for people struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues.
