Offers a peer-based aftercare program for those that complete treatment at IBH Addiction Recovery Center. Designed to help sustain long term sobriety after residential treatment by providing organized activities that foster safe friendships, reinforcement of values learned during treatment, a strong sense of community, and increased self-esteem. Activities include weekly volunteer projects, spiritual support groups, and community-based support groups to help build on the foundation introduced in residential treatment.

Services include referral to treatment to clinicians providing medicine based assistance (MAT) along with psychological treatment geared to opioid use disorder. Maintenance support such as transportation to treatment, opportunities for deaf to deaf support. facilitate services through OOD to provide employment, education for the deaf community to help them recognize the dangers of opioids and seek assistance.

After treatment is completed, we strongly encourage patients to attend a weekly, facilitated aftercare group for one year. Since aftercare is important to long-term recovery, Shepherd Hill offers this service at a no charge.
