Another Chance I.H.S. | Zion Baptist Church

Provides a residential recovery program for adults who are battling addictions or re-entering society after being released from prison. Two houses each have a full-time live-in Resident Advisor. The program use a faith-based foundation and each resident is required to set goals for themselves, including a personal goal, a recovery goal, a spiritual goal, and an employment goal. Residents are also required to attend support groups, counseling, and treatment outside of the house and to actively engage in in-home individual and group sessions. Housing is provided for program participants only.

Provides a residential transitional program for women experiencing homelessness, who are recovering from substance use disorders or mental illnesses. The program is very structured and provides a wide range of services, including case management, professional clinician services and trauma support groups. Provides a 12-month residential program for women recovering from alcohol and substance use disorders. The program's purpose is to ensure abstinence from any mood- or mind-altering substance. Recovering involves a structural program that will lead to the final quest of a new lifestyle. It is the belief of NOAMI that the process of recovery shall include personal development, family mentoring, community awareness, financial independence, job readiness, and relapse prevention. Women's support groups and family support groups are also incorporated as an on-going and effective part of this process. Complete residential treatment and after-care programming is provided.

Offers sober living facilities for people who are recovering from substance use disorders (alcohol or drugs). For the first 3 months residents attend support groups and cannot be employed. Following that, residents may choose to continue to live at the center and obtain employment. Provides residents with supportive services, such as GED classes.

Opal House is a home for 16 women who are in recovery from substance use disorders. It is not a treatment program, but rather sober-living housing.

COVID-19 Temporary Message: All case managers, peer supporters, and individual sessions will begin to meet via telephone for individual appointments. Weekend UDS at Turning Point is also suspended, though regular weekday screening is still taking place. All of their residential facilities (Turning Point, Opal House, and Liberty House) are accepting new clients.

Absolute House | Treatmentworks

Provides a structured transitional living program for those with substance abuse issues. Housing and meals are provided. Residents attend regular group therapy sessions and 12-step meetings. Anger management, parenting classes and counseling, and family counseling are offered as needed. Residents must remain on site for the first two months and participate in highly structured recovery activities (this is Phase I of the program). After that, residents continue with individual recovery and addiction services, but are allowed to leave for mainstream employment (this is Phase II of the program).
