Flooding must affect the main living areas and not just the basement. Does not provide help for secondary related problems, such as flooding from sewer backup, and does not provide food replacement or other assistance due to power outages or maintenance issues. Provides cleaning kits (mop and bleach) to victims of flooding.

Does not assist those forced out of their home due to a Carbon Monoxide issue, unless forced out in the middle of the night and in immediate danger, then will try to assist. Provides cleaning kits (mop and bleach) to victims of flooding.

Brings together faith-based and civic organizations to provide long term recovery assistance to those suffering losses that are not covered by insurance or assistance from other organizations. After a declared disaster and when activated, engages a trained caseworker to assist in resolving the unmet needs of the surviving community. Efforts include meeting the need for ongoing coordination among communities providing volunteer, financial, spiritual, physical, and/or psychological support for people whose lives have been effected by a disaster. Provides collaboration leadership in the discernment of long-term needs for recovery and rehabilitation that can be most effectively met or assisted by the community. Provides advocacy for people most vulnerable to having their needs overlooked in public recovery planning processes.
