Accepts donations of nonperishable foods such as canned soup, canned vegetables, pasta, rice, or cereal. - Event is led by the National Association of Letter Carriers. National partners include United States Postal Service, United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, National Rural Letter Carriers’ Association, AFL-CIO, United Way Worldwide, Valpak, and Valassis.
Accepts food and financial donations for distribution to network partners. The most needed items are boxed cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna, canned vegetables, canned beef stew, and canned soup.

Accepts donations of human hair. Uses donated hair to make hairpieces for children with medical hair loss. Hair must be a minimum of ten inches in length and in a ponytail or braid, but does not accept bleached hair, wigs, or synthetic hair. Participating salons will cut hair free of charge for those who are donating their hair to Locks of Love.
