Provides assistance to the newcomer community (immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers) to help link them to appropraite community services and supports. Will help the client with understanding, filling out, and submitting forms/applications, gathering documents, and making appointments as needed. In some cases, bus tickets may be provided to clients to help them get to appointments.

Provides case managers from both Su Casa Hispanic Center and Refugee Resettlement Services to assist individuals and families in navigating complex systems by advocating for them and connecting them to much needed resources in the community, such as health, housing, employment, education, legal, and mental health services.
Provides outpatient counseling, home based counseling, and case management services specifically geared towards working with the refugee population in Summit County. School-based groups are available in certain school districts.

Services include, but are not limited to: - Academic Support. - Job placement and career development. - Social engagement and intercultural exchange. - English literacy and language support. - Health and financial literacy education. - Mentor and mentee matching program. - Referrals for health and well-being services.

Offers English language classroom instruction for adults, currently virtually but traditionally on site. Classes are taught by qualified instructors and often with assistance from volunteer classroom aides.

Provides a variety of training programs, from begining to advanced sewing and entrepreneurship, designed to train individuals for career level jobs in sewing. Program uses only organic cotton fabric and provides all materials. Participants are trained to use industrial sewing machines and learn principals of garment construction. Eligible students are paid a stipend during trainng and receive a new sewing machine upon completion of the program.
