Provides law enforcement and licensing activities for controlled substances laws and regulations of the United States. Accepts reports of crimes involving illicit prescriptions, drug growing, manufacturing and distributions/sales. Licenses pharmacies. Also can provide information regarding characteristics of street and prescription drugs, drug usage, and related statistics to the public. Will also provide speakers on topics related to drugs and US laws and regulation of these substances.

Provides justice system advocacy, support and information for victims and witnesses of crime. Advocates facilitate interactions between the client and law enforcement officers and other court personnel, accompany victims to court, obtaining a civil protection order, and assist in the completion of victim impact statements and requests for victim notification. Provides application forms and information about filing a claim for victim compensation. Offers counseling, crisis intervention, and referrals. Will provide speakers who can give presentations about agency services and crime victim topics.

Provides outreach prevention programs to schools and community groups and individuals. Topics include, but are not limited to crime reduction, school and community violence, Internet safety for children, identity theft, and terrorism.

Provides a community-based advocacy group composed of representatives of community/ethnic groups, social activists, law enforcement and education whose mission is to prevent and deal with violence and racial/ethnic hatred. Offers brochures, posters, a conference, and speakers who will discuss issues related to hate crimes and hate crime prevention.

Seeks to provide comprehensive criminal justice and juvenile justice planning. Facilitates the implementation of criminal and juvenile justice system improvements through coordination of funding initiatives. Advises elected officials and agencies on the needs, priorities, and allocation of resources in the criminal and juvenile justice systems.
