Maintains a list of all unclaimed funds for Ottawa County. Can assist with obtaining documents necessary to verify proof of ownership of these funds, but actual claims must be filed through the State Dept. of Commerce. (Unclaimed funds are assets such as uncashed checks, inactive savings accounts, and insurance benefits that have existed in accounts or deposits that were inactive for a long period, usually five years or more.)

Responsible for maintenance and repair of streets, highways, bicycle paths, bridges, pedestrian overpasses, and other public byways. This maintenance can include the following:

• Street salting and snow removal.
• Roadside landscape maintenance.
• Roadside rest stop amenities.
• Removal of traffic and pedestrian obstructions.
• Other similar street-related services.

Provides soup or stews made by "EDWINS- Crafted Artisan Soup" to multiple sites in the city to distribute amongst the community.

Accepts donations of the following new and used items in working condition: clothing, bedding/linen, furniture, kitchenware (cookware, dishes, silverware), office furniture, arts/crafts supplies, books/magazines, safety helmets, cleaning products, small appliances, canes/walkers, eyeglasses, wheelchairs, cell phones, computers (All hard drives on the donated computers are wiped clean), office equipment, musical instruments, sports equipment, toys, videos/DVDs/CDs, infant/child car seats, and household, gardening, and work tools. Will only accept Flat Screen T.V.s no big back televisions. Donated items are resold to support Goodwill programs.

Provides prevention and control of fires.

Hears felony preliminary hearings, traffic cases and misdemeanor criminal cases. Hears civil cases up to $15,000, small claims up to $3,000. Performs marriages, enforces eviction and housing violations.

Women Veterans Program Manager is designated to assist women veterans. She can help coordinate all the services you may need, from primary care to medical services to Mental Health and Sexual Abuse Counseling through the following.

• Comprehensive primary care by a proficient and interested primary care provider
• Privacy, safety, dignity, and sensitivity to gender-specific needs
• The right care in the right place and time
• State-of-the-art health care equipment and technology
• High-quality preventive and clinical care, equal to that provided to male veterans
• Annual and basic gynecological care is now available daily in the Primary Care clinic by the Women's Health Care Providers.

Provides general library services including computer use and free WIFI, programming for children, teens, and adults. and downloadable books, movies, magazines, and music.

Provides a day camp for Pee-wees, ages 3-5 and for youth, ages 6-12 years old. Campers will be provided with lunch and afternoon snack.

Hosts a summer farmers market in Garrettsville. Farmers sell freshly picked produce directly to consumers.

Provides scholarships to students who attend consistently underperforming public schools. The program has been expanded to include low income families with students in grades K-4. The scholarships may be used to attend private schools that meet the requirements for program participation.

Distributes food, bread, and baked goods to needy individuals.

Provides financial support (vouchers for travel, hotels, other expenses) associated with receiving treatment, usually surgery, for women with Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome.

Provides a 16-bed men's residential treatment facility for individuals with substance use and behavioral health disorders.

Thurber House offers children's writing programs year round for students in grades 2-12. Provides 24 hour nursing social services, psychological services, and activities for adults age 21 and older. Also offers physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

Provides case management services to youth and young adults with mental health issues to help them transition into adulthood. Individuals are paired with a Navigator who works with them to determine what supports they need and where they may need help. Individuals may be referred to community partner agencies to assist to transition from youth to adult systems in order to avoid a gap in services.

Offers a farmers market featuring a diverse mix of fresh produce grown by local farmers, locally raised meats and poultry, locally made cheeses, baked goods, and other artisan foods.

Offers training and employment experiences for people with disabilities to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Services may include vocational evaluation, work adjustment, work experience, training in marketable skills and placement in competitive employment or a sheltered work environment.

Offer legal clinics as part of our integrated care model. Our clinic lawyers work to remove legal barriers for the clients we serve, focusing on Equitas Health’s vision to serve as a gateway to good health. Clinics address family law issues for all clients name, gender changes affecting the trans community.
