Provides school health programs for the Elida Local School District.

Offers a class on how to help an adolescent (age 12 to 18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD), and eating disorders.

People utilizing the warming center should expect a room with access to restrooms, chairs and possibly tables.There are no beds or dedicated sleeping areas. There will be no food preparation areas. Provides a religious-centered support group for women who are widowed. Offers support with a Christian focus.

Volunteers are matched with a child who has similar interests on a one-to-one basis. The volunteer meets with the child several hours a month to do an activity or just spend time with them. To enroll a child, the parent or guardian must call the agency, or register online (bbbslp.org) to begin the process.

Provides free pap smears, pelvic exams, and clinical breast exams to our female patients.

Collects plasma from donors to be used in therapeutic products for people suffering from hemophilia, severe burns, shock, and other life-threatening conditions. Donors are compensated for their time immediately following each successful donation.

Offers case management services to youth and adults who experience severe and persistent mental illness. Provides ongoing assessments of needs, assistance in managing basic needs, and the development of daily living skills to individuals or small groups. Assists with coordination of services, finding needed community services, advocacy and outreach, individual and family education and training, as well as eliminating barriers to seeking or maintaining education and employment.

Helps families with children get back on their feet. The OWF program can provide cash assistance to eligible families for up to 36 months. This temporary assistance helps with daily living expenses such as rent, utilities, food, car payments, child care, gas, and more.

A van from the James Cancer Center mobile unit visits Perry County 6-8 times a year to assist women in need of breast screenings. Women age 40 or older, women under the age of 40 with a first degree relative who have been diagnosed with breast cancer and women under the age of 40 who have an area of concern are eligible for screenings. Women who fit eligibility criteria receive a free mammogram.

Offers a range of outpatient treatment services for individuals who have concerns related to the use of alcohol and/or other drugs. Services may include individual and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment, case management, and other supportive services.

Provides comprehensive care for various orthopedic conditions. Led by board-certified orthopedic surgeons who cover a range of orthopedic specialties and who have additional specialty-specific fellowship training.

Provides to the public those resources, in a variety of formats, which serve the educational, informational, recreational, and cultural needs of the people. Materials to borrow including books, magazines, DVDs, blu-ray videos, audio books, and music CDs. Wide variety of reference books and electronic resources as well as local history. Offers programming to all ages on a wide variety of topics including story times, exhibits, and special events. Accepts donations of eyeglasses for local Lion's Club. South Central Ohio Job and Family Services (SCOJFS) pays part of the cost of childcare for qualifying families as they work toward self-sufficiency. This help is available for parents who are working in paid employment, attending school, completing vocational training, or working off cash assistance.
