Accepts and investigates complaints related to the sanitation and/or food-handling practices of food service establishments in Northern Kentucky. Enforces food handling and dispensing laws and regulations through regular inspections and issuance of citations when appropriate.
Accepts applications and distributes benefits for the State of Kentucky administered Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) program, formerly known as food stamps. Program provides monthly nutrition benefits to households who meet income and working qualifications. SNAP benefits are loaded onto an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) Card.
Note: Individuals must meet general working requirements and ABAWD working requirements, if applicable, unless excused.
Conducts diagnostic assessments of substance use concerns, symptoms, and behaviors and provides treatment services as needed.
- Those who are homeless or have zero (0) income may be eligible for one (1) month expedited benefits.
- Benefits that are not used in a month may be carried over to the next month, up to one (1) year.
