Will receive instruction on how to recognize and respond to an overdose (as well as distinguish between different types of overdose) and how to administer intranasal Naloxone to reverse the opioid overdose.

Provides assistance to those with child support enforcement or establishment matters. Advice and representation may be available in custody matters when the child's primary caretaker is threatened with loss of custody to a person who presents an imminent or long-term threat to the safety or well-being of the child. Advice on divorce matters is available and representation may also be available in very limited circumstances, generally involving past domestic violence in the household. Cooperates with local private attorneys who will file simple, uncontested divorces for a fee. Advice and/or assistance with "pro se" (D-I-Y) court filings is also available on a variety of other family issues including visitation, contempt of previous court orders, and adoption defense.

Community Meal

Serves the needs of the residents of Chillicothe by serving on various committees and commissions.

Investigates complaints against the following: Adult Care Facility, Ambulatory Surgical Centers, Clinical Laboratory, Comprehensive Outpatient Rehab Facility (CORF), End Stage Renal Dialysis, Home Health Agency, Hospice, Hospital, Residential Care Facility, Skilled Nursing Facility.

Offers an anonymous hotline to report bullying, threats, weapons, suspicious behaviors or devices, unusual behavior of students or staff, self harm or suicidal sentiments on or near school grounds.

Has 3 vans that go out into the community and provide homelessness outreach, including hot meals and clothing.

Offers workshop for employers, churches and community organizations to educate about many poisons unknowingly consumed every day.

Accepts donations of diapers, wipes, and formula, new and used maternity clothing and clothing for infants and children up to two years old, strollers, high chairs, essential baby items and NEW car seats. Donated items are never resold. Donated items must be in "like new" condition.

Offers all county residents a demand response system that serves residents from curb-to-curb or even from door-to-door for limited ability customers. The PRC Program is designed to provide benefits and services to needy families and low income employed families to help move out of poverty and become self-sufficient. PRC support is short term and is not intended to meet ongoing needs. If eligible for PRC benefits, a voucher is issued for the service and paid to then vendor providing the service. Voucher services available for car repairs, employment materials (tools/equipment, uniforms/footwear, professional licensure/testing fees), GED fee payment assistance, and utility assistance (primary heat source, electric, water).
