Help Me Grow (HMG) is a voluntary family support program designed for pregnant women or new parents with children under 6 months old, and for families with children up to 5 years old. HMG is an evidence-based program that encourages prenatal care and promotes healthy growth and development for babies and young children. It helps parents nurture their children's early language and cognitive development, which can lead to future academic success. Home visitors, who are trained professionals, use a non-judgmental approach to empower parents with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to support their baby's healthy growth. They assist with setting and achieving goals, provide parenting resources and support, help with referrals to community agencies when necessary, and offer enjoyable learning experiences for both parents and children. This comprehensive support helps ensure that children grow up happy, healthy, and eager to learn.
