Volunteer duties include making contact with the child once a month; full case investigation reviewing all relevant documents; meet with anyone who has information regarding the child, including but not limited to case workers teachers, medical professionals; maintain written documentation: maintain complete confidentiality; attend all court hearings and meetings; complete annual continued education hours as required by Ohio Supreme Court Rule 48 guidelines. NOTE: CASA supervisor walks alongside each volunteer throughout the life of each case.

Home visitors, who are trained professionals, use a non-judgmental approach to empower parents with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to support their baby's healthy growth. They assist with setting and achieving goals, provide parenting resources and support, help with referrals to community agencies when necessary, and offer enjoyable learning experiences for both parents and children. This comprehensive support helps ensure that children grow up happy, healthy, and eager to learn.
