Take-Back Days occur twice a year on the 4th Saturday of April and October. The days provide an avenue for safe disposal of unwanted and expired prescription and over the counter medications. Pills should be removed from bottles and placed in baggies. This is a great opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft. *Acceptable items for disposal are: Prescription drugs, Over-the-counter medications , Pet medications, Vitamins , Ointments, creams or lotions . Now accepting syringes and liquids. *Items NOT accepted include: Inhalers.

The Ohio Home Care Waiver Program (OHC) meets the needs of people who prefer to get long-term care services and supports in their home or community, rather than in an institutional setting. CareSource has contracted with the Ohio Department of Medicaid in the role of a Case Management Agency. CareSource in partnership with local Area Agency on Aging, Area Agency on Aging 3 will deliver Case Management services for the OHC program to help people meeting Medicaid financial criteria, who are under 60 years of age and assessed with an Intermediate or Skilled Level of Care, along with other program requirements

Provides anonymous, need-based syringe exchange. Participants receive needed syringes and can receive bleach kits, condoms, antibiotic cream, fentanyl test strips, referrals, and information. Will also test individuals for HIV/AIDS, especially regular clients (encourged to get tested every 3 months).
