These meals are for those who are unable to prepare their own meals or those with caregivers that cannot prepare for them. A simple call is all that is needed to start meals. After meals have been started, a home assessment will be done within 30 days.

One must be physically unable to obtain food or prepare meals and there can be no adult living at the same residence that is willing to prepare meals. An individual who resides at home with an individual who is determined eligible may also receive a home delivered meal. Meals are delivered throughout most of Washington and Morgan Counties.

Individuals 60 and over may qualify for meal assistance and nutrition supplements (ex: Ensure). Choice of delivery schedule is available: daily weekday delivery of a hot meal, once a week delivery of frozen meals, or a combination of the two. During these times clients should use their shelf stable meals which were delivered with instructions to hold meals for emergency use.
