Offers home delivered meals, both hot and frozen, for people who are homebound, unable to prepare meals, or have no one to help. The need may be temporary or long-term. Dietary accommodations include kosher, diabetic-friendly, gluten-free, renal, and cardiac therapeutic meals. Case managers work closely with clients to address nutritional needs.

Manages a variety of nutritious home delivered meal programs under the Meals on Wheels umbrella. Meals are available in Clark County. Options include daily or weekly delivery; delivered hot, chilled or frozen lunch only or dinner, free or fee based, all depending on individual circumstance and individual preferences. A benefit of daily delivery is USS trained drivers will not leave food outside. Instead making certain to interact with the client at every delivery.

Prepares and delivers one hot and one cold meal (at the same time), five days per week (M-F). This is a Private Pay program. Diabetic meals and special diets prescribed by a physician can be accommodated by prior arrangement (except Rocky River). Services may be either short-term or long-term.

Program also administers the Pre-Admission Review process that determines the level of care for persons who want to enter Medicaid-certified nursing homes and periodically offers vendors training on dealing with elderly/disabled individuals.

Multi-purpose Senior Center providing on-site meals, crafts and recreational programs, provideshome delivered meals for homebound, transportation to on-site meals, shopping, medical and recreational group trips grocery/prescription delivery, telephone reassurance which makes daily contact with homebound, provides people-to-people contact, and coordinates other needed services, provides PAS Prescription Assistance for Seniors and Golden Buckeye Card applications.

Services can be requested individually or combined. Can provide limited home bathroom modifications for safety. Does not include skilled nursing services. When program is full, assists those on waiting list to find needed services in the community. Chore services and limited bathroom modifications cannot be assessed without using other services.

Provides a delivery service of one or two meals daily, including holidays and optional weekends. Many modified diets are available. Some may include renal, diabetic, pureed and mechanical soft meals. The program does not serve as a food pantry or emergency food service.

Offers a grant funded meal delivery program for individuals overwhelmed with medical appointments or who are dealing with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or dialysis.

A day’s worth of meals includes one ready-to-eat hot lunch, a soup or sandwich, fresh fruit, small side salad, dinner roll, and milk or juice. This is a private pay program. Diabetic, low-salt, and food allergies diets can be accommodated by prior arrangement.
