The Y- Men will start construction of wheelchair ramps typically starts in April and ends in September. If you need a wheelchair ramp, own your residence and meet our basic requirements you may be eligible for a free ramp.
YOU must take the time to request, complete and return an application for a ramp.
Step 1. Send a written request for a ramp application to: Y Men's Service Club. P.O. Box 275. Marion, Ohio 43302 or message name and address on Facebook Messenger.
Step 2. You will be mailed a ramp application. Complete the application and return it to the address shown above.
Once the completed application is received and we determine you may be eligible will visit your home to determine the ramp is doable. If it is you will be added to the list and a build date will be determined at a later date.

The Habitat Critical Home Repair program helps low-income homeowners by providing affordable loans to help repair critical issues in or around their home. Through the program homeowners' partner with Habitat for Humanity and our volunteers. This work improves quality of life and preserves the housing stock in Southeastern Ohio. Note: This is not a free program. The Home Repair program addresses health and safety concerns in several areas of the home as well as in the community. Projects have a financial cap of $5,000. They include, but are not limited to:

The Microfinance Program can provide affordable loans up to $2,000 so families can improve and maintain their homes and their quality of life without seeking out payday or high-interest predatory loans. Loans available for:
- Replacement of countertops, cabinets, flooring, doors, windows, etc.
- Repair (if manufactured within the last 15 years) or replacement of appliances
- Repair of porches, decks, roof, etc.
- Painting
- Upgrades for energy efficiency
- Accessibility projects (e.g., ramp).
- Vehicle Repair funds may be available if the automotive repair could be linked to staying housed (example: fix vehicle to get to work to pay for housing). Funds may be used to address “quality of life” issues for Southeast Ohio residents in order to maintain and sustain their current housing.

The Home Repair Program provides no-cost upgrades and fixes for qualified homeowners. This grant-funded program requires no repayment by the homeowner.
The Home Rehabilitation Program offers more extensive repairs and upgrades for homes. Assistance will be in the form of a declining-forgivable loan. There is no monthly payment, and no interest will be charged. No credit check is needed.
100% of the amount borrowed will be forgiven over (5) years provided owner continues to own and occupy the home.
NOTE: Funding varies from year to year and might not always be available.
