Renewals may be done no sooner than 90 days before the expiration date and no later than 30 days after the expiration date on the permit. At that time you must bring in a copy of your Carry Concealed Training Certificate if your current permit was issued from a county other than Shelby County and file another application. There will be a mandatory background check with a fee of $50.The applicant will be notified to pick up their CCW Permit Card within 45 days.
