Offers a presentation for parent groups in which parents are taught to ask questions of the parents/caregivers of their children's playmates, to ascertain whether there is a gun on the premises and, if so, how it is secured. Actual experiences of other parents are stressed, rather than any political agenda. Supporting materials are distributed to participants.

Provides printed materials on crime prevention and general safety to the public when requested. Additionally arranges general safety courses, including firearm safety, for local groups and clubs by request. Offers an annual bicycle safety course to the public every summer.

Offers a neighborhood watch program, a bicycle safety program, gun locks, and education to parents and those under 21 years of age about the consequences of underage drinking, and programs aimed at increasing safety belt usage for Russell Township.

Provides general crime prevention and safety information for the City of North Royalton. Offers safety information on topics such as firearm safety for school age youth, personal safety, and driving safety. Offers vacation security checks.

Provides workshops to educate non-violent offenders about the seriousness and consequences of carrying a weapon.

Provides safety programs in the areas of: residential security evalulations, firearm safety, halloween safety, school safety, bicycle safety, neighborhood watch programs, and personal safety.

Provides information and education on general crime prevention as well as specific topics such as elder abuse prevention, bicycle safety, pedestrian safety, child passenger safety, driving safety, firearm safety, personal safety, and school safety. Offers vacation security checks, neighborhood block watch, and security evaluations for businesses.

Applicants must have passed a firearms safety course that provides a certificate of completion stating the the curse and training is in compliance with the State of Ohio House Bill #12. Applicants must apply and successfully be approved by the Sheriff's Office after a completed background check before receiving their concealed carry permit within the State of Ohio.
