Offers hospice services for persons who are terminally ill. Services for clients include pain management, nursing care, personal care, art therapy, social work services, music therapy, respite for caregivers, spiritual care, counseling, and assistance with medications. Provides supportive services for families, such as social work and support groups.
Hospice helps patients achieve comfort and fulfillment in the final period of life. Genesis Hospice provides medical care and support services not only to the patient but also to the patient’s family and caregivers. Hospice enables individuals to live their lives where they are most comfortable. Most patients are referred to hospice by a physician or another health care professional; however, anyone may refer a patient.
Provides a 37-bed inpatient facility as well as in-home hospice services for the care of terminally ill patients of all faiths. Services include 24-hour skilled nursing care, medications, medical equipment, physician visits, meals, chaplaincy services, beauty shop services, and other amenities.

Hospice of Dayton has a long-standing collaborative relationship with more than one hundred area nursing homes, assisted living facilities, extended care facilities and area hospitals so patients can receive hospice care in the setting where they feel most at home, whether that is in their own residence, our 51 private-bed room at our Care Center on Wilmington Avenue; our 13 private-bed in-patient facility (near the Atrium Medical Center serving Butler and Warren Co. residents); or with one of our partner organizations.

HNCO provides comfort, support, and care for families dealing with the last phase of life. Our care team gives guidance and assurance and journeys with patients and families. Physical, spiritual, and emotional support is provided in the patient's home or where the patient lives. Palliative care is also available for those dealing with chronic illnesses, even if they are seeking curative measures. Free bereavement services, including individual counseling, support groups, and workshops, are provided for the families of hospice patients, and also to anyone in the community living with grief.

Community Mercy Hospice is licensed by the State of Ohio and certified by Medicare. A wide range of program services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid and other health insurance plans.
