Provides a program to help recently-discharged veterans make a successful transition from military life to civilian life. The program is peer-guided in connecting transitioning service members to community-specific resources at their desired location. While being involved in this program veterans are able to request monetary assistance with housing, utilities, food, and clothing.

Job and Resource Fair to help individuals learn about immediate job opportunities, tips for joining the workforce, resources to jumpstart career and educational goals. Participants are encouraged to bring their resume and dress for success!

Offers resources available to community members who are currently unemployed and looking for employment, or those who want a different or higher paying job. Job Seekers have access to a full selection of resources under one convenient location, Services available include: - Partner services from local and state organizations - Employment and career counseling - Staffed, full service job search resource center with internet access - A host of jobseeker-related services including resume development, job leads, (link to hot jobs) and interview skills brush up - Veterans services - Access to education and training providers - Vocation rehabilitation services for those with a disability - Connections to other supportive services - CCMEP Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program. Mandatory for all OWF recipients ages 16-24.

Provides a vocational training and job placement service for unemployed or under-employed individuals. Includes career change counseling and assistance for displaced workers and displaced homemakers. Those interested in job training will first complete career testing and assessment before being placed in an appropriate training program. Offers all participants workshops, computer and telephone access, resume development, and other job search assistance. Maintains a database for job seekers to post their resumes for potential employers to view.

Offer credentialing opportunities, with curriculum partner New Collar Network, in 3D printing technologies to students in an 18-week experience in preparation for the workforce. Family Support Specialist collaborates with community organizations throughout the Mahoning Valley to assist young women and their families before, during and after pregnancy with food, transportation, clothing, diapers, medical appointment scheduling/follow up, essential needs and employment.

Employers are able to use this building for job fairs and interviewing new hires. Employers are also able to use spacious rooms for trainings and meetings.

Provides a virtual event where online participants can communicate with local employers

Provides help for eligible individuals applying for benefits, including but not limited to, food stamps, cash assistance, medical (Medicaid), and Social Security; obtaining official documents (birth certificates, state-issued ID), searching for employment, housing, mental health counseling or other community resources.

Works to help adults with developmental disabilities achieve the highest level of independent function possible. Each new client receives an individual plan which is reviewed as needed. Services include work evaluation, basic skills development, recreational activities for seniors no longer working. A number of supportive services are provided to participants, including communication skills training, recreation and activities, social work, physical therapy and occupational therapy.

Offers designated space and equipment for job seekers. Offers computer, Internet and other job finding resources. Staff and volunteers assist customers with application process. Provides classes on basic computer skills, job searching, resume help, and Internet searching.

Guides individuals with disabilities through the job-seeking process including assistance identifying employer expectations, filling out applications, resume creation and interview preparation.

Provides a center where individuals can access fax machines, telephones, copiers, computers with internet access, and printers to conduct their job searches and create/update resumés. Workplace staff offer basic computer skills training, job search and placement assistance, vocational and literacy evaluations, and labor market information.

On-site employment assistance for individuals and businesses. Includes access to Resource Room.

Provides a jobs search and placement program which is designed to help families and individuals reduce and eventually eliminate their dependency upon public assistance.

Provides vocational training for persons with barriers to employment (including those with disabilities). Includes pre-employment training, work experience and job placement.

Provides a personal life coach for members of the plan who work to address needs beyond physical health, such as preparing for, training for, and searching for employment, budgeting and finances, education or training opportunities. Coaches can also link members to services and supports for housing, food assistance, and transportation.

Offers several young adult employment programs offering job readiness and workplace skills training, case management, job placement, and tuition assistance with obtaining job specific training and certifications. Employment programs include: Hospitality, State Tested Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy, Construction, and Manufacturing.

Program that focuses on individual goal and employability plans, one-on-one employment coaching. Workshops for resume writing and interviewing skills available upon request.

Provide services for developmentally disabled children and adults of Columbiana County. Offers an integrated continuum of education, training and family support services to eligible persons with developmental disabilities, for the entire span of life. Provide after hours emergency services.

Clients begin by meeting a veterans services specialist to help the veteran identify barriers to their employment success. Specialists help veterans identify and access resources that will help them overcome their barriers. Focus is on self-reliance. Services provided include resume and cover letter preparation, employment related licensing or certification, job search assistance and other employment related services.
