Provides childbirth and infant care education for fathers-to-be. Includes practical information about caregiving, relationships and parenting. Fathers in the program can get free admission for themselves and their families to the Cleveland Children's Museum.

Provides home based early literacy services, assessments, support, resources to pregnant moms, caregivers, parents of children up to the age of 5, with a concentration on ages 0-2. Also provides monthly wellness sessions as well as monthly parenting and information support groups.

Offers a prenatal support program for low-income African American pregnant women. Provides in home case management services through Community Health Workers (CHW) who make regular home visits throughout the duration of the pregnancy and until the infant turns one (1) year old. In addition, offers support, education and resources via a telehealth option.

Provides a support group for new and expectant parents to reduce stress and better cope with parenting. Sessions are held in-person at various community locations and virtually.

Offers new parents a one time home visit and a follow up phone call from a licensed registered nurse. Visitation includes a head to toe assessment of the newborn and post partum depression screening for mom. Parents are encouraged to address any concerns or questions they may have.

Provides two support groups, one for breastfeeding mothers, offered in a group setting, but individual advice and attention from a lactation consultant is provided. The second group provides an environment where new moms can meet other moms with infants, share ideas, frustrations and solutions. Group is facilitated by a RN.

Preparation for parenthood, a department of the Center for Women's Health, offers a variety of programs and classes to help you prepare for your new baby. Classes include: Childbirth Refresher, classes for dads only, baby care, breastfeeding, infant massage, Infant safety and CPR (FOR EXPECTING MOTHERS ONLY), moms in motion.

Provides community-based care coordination services for expectant mothers and women with children. Community Health Workers identify social and medical needs, connect individuals to appropriate services and care, and provide other wraparound supports. An emphasis is placed on prenatal and postpartum care and education, and removing non-medical barriers to receiving health care.

Provides confidential pregnancy testing (blood test).

Offers a 10-week parenting class that provides information for the first two (2) years after baby's birth. Limited childcare available during class.

Promotes the personal responsibility of teen parents completing their education by providing discipleship and incentive resources through donations offered by churches, businesses, and individuals. Includes a mentor/role model and religious support.

Provides community and school-based services to support pregnant and parenting teens in Franklin County. Resource advocates work one on one with teens to help foster success in education, healthy babies, effective parenting, healthy relationships, stable housing and delayed subsequent pregnancy. Services are provided for up to 2 years. Work with teen moms and dads. Also offers teen parent education and support groups at select area high schools.

Provides a program to help young parents deal with their dual role as adolescent and parent. Parenting classes, life skills education, and case management (to link the client to appropriate community services) are provided.
