Programs may include use of gymnasium, swimming pool, track, instruction in sports, arts and crafts, games, and drill teams. Computer classes are available at one site, and computers are available to use at two sites. Participants typically help to determine programming for each site. Programs are often staffed by school personnel.

Provides a workshop series designed to reduce subsequent pregnancies while increasing goal accomplishment, character development and academic success. Topics include coaching, budgeting/financial literacy, stress and time management and much more.

Provide environmental prevention strategies to the community of Mahoning County to reduce youth substance use, and adult misuse over time through a community coalition of key stakeholders. Sponsor prescriber training to address opioid misuse, disseminates literature via media, neighborhood canvassing to reduce youth use, establishes drug free zones throughout the community, facilitates Safe Home campaigns, sponsors and creates youth ambassadors who are champions in efforts to reduce peer substance use, monitors retail outlets for underage sales.

Holdings include materials about active teaching, arms control, conflict resolution, critical thinking, diversity, energy issues, environmental concerns, global security, international relations, military spending, multicultural issues, nuclear power and proliferation, nuclear waste, war and peace, youth violence, and bullying prevention. A program about environmental issues includes use of a large balloon and exercises to develop awareness about the environment.

Provides an after-school program that teaches youth about job skills, public speaking, interviewing, and basic life skills. Participants are provided a small stipend to take part in the program.

Designed to help youth become self-sufficient adults. Independent living program is designed for youth who want to make the most of their lives. Youth learn the necessary skills to live on their own, such as financial management, career and educational planning, tax preparation, budgeting and other life skills.
