Six-month intensive training program to prepare racial/ethnic minorities and people in the LGBTQ+ community effective service on a non-profit board and/or committees. Consists of 10-12 regular sessions two to four hours in length. Sessions include governance and management, strategic planning, fundraising and resource development, fiscal management, parliamentary procedures/effective meetings and marketing/public relations.

Provides classroom curriculum focusing on social skills, non-violent problem solving, and improving classroom behavior. Offers interpersonal skills training to parents on issues such as anger management, communication, depression, and non-violent discipline techniques. Also offers training to parents on how to boost their child's academic habits and performance. Parent training is conducted in group settings. Children participate in activities to promote appropriate social and emotional skills.

Help Me Grow Home Visiting is Ohio's program for expectant parents, newborns, infants and toddlers. The program provides health and developmental services so that children start school healthy and ready to learn. Help Me Grow works with parents to support young children's development. Home Visitors provide on-going home visits in the home; focus on improving prenatal health habits and infant care giving skills; provide information on child's health, growth, education and development through the Parents As Teachers program; provide screenings for health, hearing, vision and development; connect families with community resources and services. Affiliated with the evidence-based home visiting model Parents As Teachers. Services include - Developmental Screening - Information on parenting tips - Assistance in developing and reaching family goals - Home Visits to help each child stay "on the road" to healthy growth and development - Service Coordination - professional nurses, teachers, or other qualified staff who share their knowledge about available resources, assist families in connecting with needed services, coordinate services to help families meet their needs and goals. Provides young girls at-risk for substance abuse, dropping out of school, teen pregnancy, and dating violence with the skills necessary to make positive life choices and build their self esteem. Girls participate in a variety of activities including group discussions and leadership activities, horseback riding, swimming, etc. A weekend retreat is offered once per year.
