The Outlet is an individual, group, school and community-based mentoring and prevention services program serving males ages 10 to 18, residing in Delaware and Franklin Counties.
Provides recreational, physical fitness, arts, and structured educational programming for residents, using neighborhood school facilities. Programs may include use of gymnasium, swimming pool, track, instruction in sports, arts and crafts, games, and drill teams. Computer classes are available at one site, and computers are available to use at two sites. Participants typically help to determine programming for each site. Programs are often staffed by school personnel.
