Services provided to families that promote safe, healthy environments for children. Reports of child abuse, neglect, or dependency are investigated with services provided in home, whenever possible, to maintain the family unit. Children at risk of harm may be placed in substitute care while risk factors are resolved with family. Services also include adoptive placement of children and completion of adoptive home study for families wishing to adopt special need children.
