Foster Care | Bellefaire Jewish Children'S Bureau

Provides foster families for children who have been removed from the home and who are in county custody. Will work with youth who have moderate to severe mental/behavioral health problems, substance abuse issues, or special medical needs. Provides supportive services include counseling, crisis intervention, respite care. Recruits, trains, and provides supportive services to families who would like to work with this agency to provide foster homes.

Family And Children Services Division - Clark Jfs | Clark County Department Of Job & Family Services

Family & Children Services is mandated to receive and investigate reports of alleged child abuse and neglect. Investigations are performed in cooperation with the Police and Sheriff's Departments. Services available to families involved are: Case Management, Case Counseling, Protective Services, Family Stability, Substitute Care and Adoption.

This foster care program provides foster care to youth age 0-21. Components of the program for those enrolled include: personal progress plans, educational counseling, job training programs, foster care settings, independent living situations, personal advocates, and sex offender program. Also provides individual counseling & medication management.

Children Services - Madison Jfs | Madison County Department Of Job & Family Services

The Children Services Unit investigates reports of abuse and neglect. This unit also assumes responsibility for dependent children. Ongoing protective services to families and children identified to be a risk of further abuse or neglect. Foster care and adoption services are provided. Alternative Response is a form of practice in child protective services that allows for more than one method of response to accepted reports of suspected child abuse and/or neglect.

Foster Care Services | Summit County Children Services

Provides temporary placement for children and youth placed in the custody of Summit County Children Services. Foster parents and other substitute caregivers work to meet the child and family's case plan goals for reunification. Services include foster home recruitment and training, ongoing education, training, and other collaborative services to promote child safety and reduce the length of time children remain in out of home care. Kinship placement is secured whenever possible to maintain family connectedness and minimize trauma.

Therapeutic And Special Needs Foster Care | Specialized Alternatives For Families And Youth Of America

Provides foster care for children who have been removed from the home by a county agency as well as hard to place children (such as those with behavioral issues, disabilities, or health issues). The children receive case management (to link them to appropriate community and medical services) and individualized services from a team of professionally-trained foster families and social workers. This program is intended as a short-term solution with the goal of reunifying the primary family whenever possible. Transition support for children who are aging out of the foster care system is also provided. Recruits and trains families who are interested in providing foster care to children with special needs.
