This is a great opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft. *Acceptable items for disposal are: Prescription drugs, Over-the-counter medications , Pet medications, Vitamins , Ointments, creams or lotions , Liquid medications, cough syrups . *Items NOT accepted include: Liquids, injectables and inhalers.

Offers a community-sponsored program that allows residents to rake leaves into a pile on the side of the road (or the edge of their property) for pick up by a vacuum truck on designated days.
Maintains all storm and sanitary sewers for the City of Strongsville. In case of basement flooding, will send an inspector to the site to determine if blockage or break is in the main sewer line (for example, the storm sewer in the street) or on private property (from the curb to the house). Can only address issues with publicly owned sewer line. The sewer line from the curb to the house is the homeowner's responsibility.

Offers annual leaf collection service between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. through December 12. Residents will have two opportunities to have their fallen leaves cleared by city workers. All residents should rake leaves to the gutter at the curbline in front of residences prior to the Monday of your scheduled collection week before 7:00 a.m. Leaf collection is provided at the street only. Leaves should be loose in order for leaf collection equipment to operate properly. Leaves may be bagged for pickup and placed at the curb or edge of the street anytime before scheduled collection.
