Providing no-strings-attached cash assistance to pregnant individuals. NOTE: Applying does not guarantee selection to join the program. This location is a research study that will include a high cash group and a low cash group. If selected to move forward, individuals may be placed in either the high or low cash group.

Offers central intake for expectant women and families to provide resources and coordinate assistance by community health workers (CHW) in the client's preferred setting (home, agency, and/or community setting). Performs a detailed screening to identify barriers, needs, and opportunities for women and their families and then a step-by-step approach to action is taken to each item. Applies for and/or enrolls individuals in various community programs that the individual qualifies for, such as WIC and Medicaid. Completes a minimum of three (3) outreach attempts on each person screened to ensure all needs/opportunities have been met.

Provides assistance with the payment of delinquent rent.

Provides financial rewards for keeping prenatal and well baby (checkups, lead screening, immunizations, flu shots) appointments. Members can redeem rewards for gift cards to retailers. Rewards are available for women getting preventive care such as dental exams, annual physicals, flu shots and more.

Offers six (6) coupons to WIC clients worth $5 each to purchase Ohio-grown fresh fruits, vegetables and/herbs at Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) locations. Vouchers can be redeemed at WIC approved vendors for fresh produce items listed in the brochure that will be provided at voucher distribution.

Provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support; supplemental, highly nutritious foods such as cereal, eggs, cheese, milk, whole grain foods, fruits and vegetables, and iron-fortified infant formula which are provided on a WIC Nutrition EBT Card. Also provides referrals to prenatal and pediatric health care and other maternal and child health and human service programs. The WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is a dual purpose program which benefits both WIC participants and farmers. In the program, WIC participants are given $30 in coupons to purchase authorized fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs from authorized farmers at farmers' markets and farm stands.

Provides treatment services in the context of a 24-hour, supervised drug- and alcohol-free environment for women who have problems related to substance use disorder. Pre-school age children may reside with their mothers while in treatment.

Provides residential substance abuse treatment for people who are in the late stages of addiction. Support and counseling are offered to family members of the individual in treatment.

Provides supplemental food vouchers, nutrition education, counseling, support and referral services to eligible women, children, fathers, and kinship caregivers. Nursing mothers are provided with information and education on breastfeeding. Also offers speakers who discuss the program and the value of good nutrition and breastfeeding. During the summer, also provides a supplemental voucher to each client for fruits and vegetables from selected local growers (Farmers' Market Nutrition Program) - these are available while supplies last. Operates a residential treatment program for women who have substance use disorders. Services for residents include: individual and group substance use counseling, on-site support groups, career planning, education, aftercare, family and children's services, and follow-up. Women with children and women who are pregnant are welcome at the facility. May provide bus tickets or Uber Health for enrolled clients, if necessary.
