Provides a Court Appointed Public Attorney to defendants who are found to be indigent.

Prisoners with a history of substance abuse have several options for recovery. DCI provides residential and outpatient treatment programs certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services (ODADAS). DCI was ODADAS certified in June 1995.

Provides individual counseling for people who have problems with anger and violence toward their families. Uses discussion, role play, handouts and videos to offer instruction and guidance in identifying and changing patterns of abusive behavior.

Youth are taught to identify, alter and reshape self-destructive patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Services include group therapy, individual and family counseling and community-based management services. All youth are served but moderate to high risk youth will receive two group sessions per week, an in-home community based worker and possibly individual counseling.

Provides an inpatient, therapeutic "community as method" approach program for men under court supervision. This is a long-term, intensive program that must be committed to willingly.

Files direct appeals and post-conviction motions to Ohio's Eighth District Court of Appeals (Cuyahoga County), the Ohio Supreme Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Will also offer some general information about legal issues and the court process.

Services include individual, family and recreational therapy, transportation to and from the program location, comprehensive diagnostic and risk assessment, psychological and psychiatric evaluations and after care and community follow-up.

Provides a restorative Justice Program, which is a 26 week strength-based treatment program that takes an intensive home and group-based multidimensional approach. Program is only available to juvenile delinquents with previous court involvement.

Provides resources, plans, and support group interaction for those with alcohol or drug and law enforcement contact. There are individual and group alcohol or drug sessions surrounding the 12 step traditions.

Provides foster care to youth age 0-21. Components of the program for those enrolled include. Personal progress plans, educational counseling, job training programs, foster care settings, independent living situations, personal advocates, and sex offender program. Offer individual counseling and medication management.

Provides domestic violence education classes. Corresponds with courts, probation and parole personnel and other organizations. Includes group and individual sessions, random urinalysis and aftercare.

Provides legal representation for eligible people charged with violations of the criminal code, felony offenses and some misdemeanors. Will also offer some general information about legal issues and the court process.

Provides intensive case management for those on parole or post-release control who have a severe mental illness. Offers the services of social workers, psychiatric nurses, a psychiatrist, and a parole officer. Maintains frequent interaction with client and monitors their medications, basic needs, and housing and employment situations, and helps them find needed treatment and services.

Serves Juvenile sexual offenders adjudicated and non-adjudicated ages 12-18 with group and individual therapy and in-home services.

Provides formal supervision for those awaiting trial or on community control (probation) as ordered by the court. Supervises probationers and monitors compliance to the conditions of their probation as well as providing other services such as referrals for social services. Specialized probation services provided for those needing intensive supervision such as those who are mentally disordered offenders, mentally retarded offenders, and sex offenders. Places offenders into drug treatment when needed. Provides case management for those in drug treatment and acts as a liaison between the court, client, and treatment facility. Also supervises persons in the work release and home detention programs.

Provides legal representation (licensed attorney) for indigent individuals charged with violations of the criminal code, felony offenses, and some misdemeanors.

Provides theft prevention education for youth that are first time offenders.

Choice Pantry: Provides a 3–5 day supply of food up to twice per month. The pantry also offers additional support, including pet food, diapers, and baby food. The Hilliard Food Pantry hosts a variety of educational and creative classes, such as nutrition education, parenting workshops, and art programs. A small library with books for children and adults is available to promote literacy and learning. During the holiday season, the pantry provides special holiday assistance.
