Also provides consumer education materials on what to look for when selecting and evaluating a child care program. Organization cannot provide referrals for child care in the client's home (not the same as care in the home of a child care provider). However, if a client has an emergency situation AND has an open case with the county department of children and family services, the county department may be able to make arrangements for service in the home of the client.

Offers a statewide association for child care resource and referral agencies. Membership consists of community-based child care resource and referral agencies providing services to families, early childhood professionals, and communities throughout Ohio. Along with direct services to over 40,000 Ohio families each year, member agencies are involved in community activities which improve child care for all children. This includes efforts to improve laws, regulations, policies, and funding.
