Services include providing or referring eligible families to supports that may assist with a family's housing stabilization, including assistance with getting documents for school enrollment (birth certificates, immunization records, etc), food and other basic needs assistance. Direct services to assist with school work may include digital equipment for online learning and access to the Internet. School services may include tutoring, school appropriate clothing, school supplies, homework assistance, educational enrichment, vocational assessment for teens, and special needs assessment for preschoolers. Also provides an e-mail system for shelter managers to connect them directly to the school district and ensure ease of school registration for eligible children.

Provides home mortgage loan counseling services to those who are in danger of losing their home. Works with the lender to negotiate and restructure the loan in order to create better terms for the borrower. In some cases, agency will refinance the loan. Goal is to bring the interest rate down to a level where the borrower can make sustainable payments.

The Ohio Direction Card (EBT Card) is an electronic debit card that replaced food assistance coupons. The card can be used to purchase food products for human consumption at participating stores.

• Those who are homeless or have zero (0) income may be eligible for one (1) month expedited benefit within 24 hours.
• Benefits that are not used in a month may be carried over to the next month, up to one (1) year.
