CRIS' mission is to help refugees and immigrants reach and sustain self-sufficiency and achieve successful integration into the Central Ohio community. CRIS is a not-for-profit organization. Through the provision of high quality services addressing: *Resettlement (Reception and placement of refugees from overseas) *Employment *English Language Skills *Legal Issues related to Immigration *Early Childhood and Parenting *Older Adult Needs *Interpretation and Translation *Outreach to Limited English Proficiency (LEP) populations *Wellness Coordination and Services

Provides behavioral health services including intensive outpatient program, drug and alcohol prevention, gambling treatment, intervention and counseling/treatment. Mental health, addictions and dual diagnosis counseling.

Three complete meals for three days (total of 9 meals) available once every 30 days. May visit Mount Vernon branch for second monthly visit. Taxable items as available, referral made to other area food pantries and Hot Meals programs.

Provides education for youth from pre-kindergarten through high school. Assists students with obtaining a work permit. Provides bus transportation for enrolled students.

Routine health care provided by internists, pediatricians, OB/GYN, substance use and mental health services, clinical pharmacy, nutrition, geriatric and preventative medicine physicians. Services focus on the prevention and early detection of health problems through regular physical examinations, blood pressure checks, immunizations and other similar procedures. This site also provides COVID-19 testing and vaccines for 6 months to adults, vision (including dispensary) and dental services.

Provides a therapy program that includes Healing Touch, Reiki, massage therapy, sound therapy, reflexology, short-term counseling, and facials; each is designed to provide comfort, relaxation, strength, and peace to those in active cancer treatment; therapies are provided by licensed, experienced therapists who are dedicated to supporting cancer patients.

Volunteer instructors prepare students to recognize the signs and symptoms of a heart attack, help someone who is choking, do the work of an unconscious person's heart and lungs until medical help arrives, keep an injured person safe from further injury and as comfortable as possible until medical care can arrive. Also training people in the use of Automatic Electronic Defibrillator.

(PRIVATE PROGRAM) - Provides free deliveries of incontinence supplies to individuals who are either home-bound or lack transportation in Lucas County. Deliveries can be made within ten miles of the approved selected pick up location. Callers should also be offered other resources for transportation based on eligibility.

Provides computer and printing instructions to anyone interested.

Offers support to caregivers by answering questions, helping make plans for care, and assisting with navigating community organizations. Helps caregivers understand their options and provides education to make difficult decisions and have challenging conversations. Able to host/mediate family conversations around care for older adults.

At a choice pantry, we welcome customers to come in for shelf-stable pantry items. You can select what you want.

A 2-week in residence training to learn cane travel techniques.

Provides opportunities for supervised leisure activities for those with developmental disabilities, and a way to earn money through art.

Provides a pre-doctoral Psychology Internship Program with specific requirements. Also provides community based internships for individuals in a related undergraduate or graduate programs, such as social work, psychology, sociology, early childhood education, child and family studies, and human relations.

Accepts donations of food (baby food, baby formula, frozen food, non-perishable foods, dairy, meat, produce, and prepared foods), new and used office supplies, as well as new and used arts/crafts supplies for all ages. Donated items are never resold.

Provides volunteer opportunities to assist with day and residential camps.

Provides a warm place to stay during extreme cold weather and a cool place to stay during extreme heat.

Provides a volunteer organization formed to elect qualified Republican candidates to public elected offices. Signs, bumper stickers, and candidate literature will be available at the center.

Provides determination of eligibility for SNAP/Food Assistance Program to help individuals and families with grocery item purchases.

Recruits volunteers to work in the office or barn, groom horses, perform yard work, or serve as lead or side walkers for the disabled horse riders.

Offers hospital advocacy for individuals who have trafficked.

Provides supplemental food card that includes staple foods, fruits and vegetables; nutrition education; breastfeeding education; support and counseling; and referral services to eligible women and children. During the summer also provides a one-time $30 supplemental voucher to a limited number of participants for fruits and vegetables from selected local growers (Farmers' Market Nutrition Program), available while supplies last. Also offers speakers who discuss the program and the value of good nutrition.
