Responsible for billing and collecting water and sewer accounts, collection of parking citations, and other related City services. Water and sewer accounts can be paid in person at the Utility Collections Office by mail or by electronic funds transfer through a customer’s bank. Water and sewer accounts are billed monthly the greater of, the actual water that passes through the meter, or a minimum service fee if there is no usage. Parking citations will be posted on the Mansfield Police Department Patron Portal https://ci.mansfield.oh.us/online-bill-pay/.

Dental OPTIONS (Ohio Partnership To Improve Oral health through access to Needed Services) is a partnership between the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) and the Ohio Dental Association that began in 1997 to assist older adults and the "working poor" access dental care. OPTIONS is a vital program to help our older adults with disabilities and/or compromising medical conditions, as well as other uninsured low-income adults with limited financial resources get needed dental care. Patients are referred to safety nets and/or Medicaid first, when possible. If they still can't get dental care, then eligible patients are matched with volunteer dentists who treat the patients in their offices and have agreed to donate or discount the care.

Summary of Responsibilities: Loaned executives( LE's) are employees of local companies who are loaned, on a part-time basis, by their employers to serve our community. Objective: Facilitate leadership, fundraising, and teamwork within local businesses by assisting in organizing a successful United Way campaign. Individual would serve as a United Way spokesperson, conveying the needs of the community, and promoting community involvement, while actively supporting campaign as an investor. Work as a team to increase corporate campaigns by 5- 10%. Responsibilities: The Loan executives will attend meetings, and develop/implement strategies by working with others on assigned accounts. Loan Executives will be asked to contact business and community agencies to get their support and monetary contribution to go towards the United Way campaign. The Loan Executives: will need to attend specific meetings as required:

• Attend Loaned Executives training

• Attend the Campaign Kick-off

- LE meetings as scheduled by the Business Chairs

• Attend the Annual Celebration.

** Time devoted towards LE Volunteering - 3-10 hours per week ( August - December )

Provides legal representation to indigent defendants (persons facing possible incarceration), individuals who cannot afford legal representation for offenses in Hamilton County

Provides a 3-day supply of food to those in need. Mostly non-perishable food.

Offers designated space and equipment for job seekers. Offers computer, Internet and other job finding resources. Staff and volunteers assist customers with application process. Provides classes on basic computer skills, job searching, resume help, and Internet searching.

Provides monthly cash benefits to aged, blind, and disabled adults/children with limited income and resources. Benefit amount varies, but average is $735 for an individual or $1,103 for a couple. In Ohio, individuals who receive at least $1 in SSI benefits qualify for Medicaid.

Provides different practices such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Dental

Provides a participating family with an LMHA Family Self-Sufficiency Coordinator to create a plan that will assist them in moving towards economic self-sufficiency.

Administers Social Security program for retirement benefits. Provides monthly cash payments for older adults 62 years and older. Benefit amounts depend on wages earned and the number of quarters of coverage on individuals Social Security record.

Provides a sober living facility for recovery from addiction. Program involves intensive group work while living with others who are experiencing addiction, attendance at AA meetings within the community, volunteer service opportunities outside the community, high school equivalency testing (if applicable), and job skills training. Goal is eventual full reintegration into society with tools to prevent relapse. Capacity is 48-52. Program staff are not trained counselors.

Administers the Supplemental Security Income Program (SSI). Provides basic income to individuals who are 65 years and older, disabled or blind and have a limited income. Income assists individuals in meeting basic needs for food, clothing and shelter.

Provides a 24-hour, 7 day a week child abuse/neglect hotline for individuals to report known or suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect. All information reported is confidential. Offers assistance to parents who fear they may abuse their children or have caused their children harm. All calls are prioritized based on safety of children.

Offers animals for adoption. Both dogs and cats are available at the shelter. At the time of adoption, an interview will determine if the potential owner is a good match for the chosen pet. In addition to the pre-adoption interview.

Issues marriage licenses to Hardin County residents wishing to marry in the State of Ohio and those out-of-state residents wishing to marry in Hardin County. All marriage licenses must be used within 60 days of issuance.
