Topics include, but not limited to, infant and child care, basic first aid, rescue skills, injury prevention, behavior management, and nurturing techniques. All participants receive a manual and a test is given at the end of the course. Provides instructional materials and training to enable organizations to offer the Safe Sitter course.

A program to improve the health of pregnant women who have been diagnosed with an opiate or amphetamine use disorder and their newborn children. Care coordination and wrap-around services include: medication-assisted treatment options, dual-diagnosis counseling services, psychiatric services, childcare services, transportation to and from medical appointments, recovery support services, housing assistance, OB/GYN and pediatric referrals, and supported employment services. Eligible applicants can enroll at the onset of pregnancy and stay in the program for up to one year after the delivery of their infants. COVID-19 Temporary Message: Community Counseling Center will be seeing a limited number of clients in person at their offices. If you are one of those individuals they will contact you to complete a phone health screening prior to your appointment. If you are an established client, your provider will be reaching out to you. Their pharmacy partner, Genoa Healthcare, will remain open but will be focused exclusively on filling your prescriptions by mail. Surrounds pregnant and new mothers with support, education and resources in a weekly group program to ensure a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Services include prenatal and child birth education, medical referrals, talking with doctors and nurses, parenting resources, food assistance, baby items, as well as a healthy meal and the opportunity to socialize with other pregnant moms. Childcare and $5 Kroger gift card at each meeting. Transportation provided if needed.

Provides replacement funds to Food Assistance/Food Stamp recipients who have lost food due to a power outage, fire or governor declared emergency. Replacement funds may replace up to, but not exceed, the client's monthly allotment of food assistance. Funds are sent by electronic transfer to the recipient's Ohio Direction Card.

Provides counseling for individuals staying in shelter and outreach counseling for non-residential individuals. Services include short term crisis intervention counseling, education, and case management.

Provides transportation services to people in the recovery community so they can access employment, recovery support services, treatment, court hearings, and other recovery-related activities.
