Seasonal Safe@Home Program (low-to moderate income older adults 60+): Safety Kits: Supply drives are completed and kits put together and installed by volunteers. Kits may include items like smoke detectors, cleaning supplies, LED bulbs, and grab bars. National Rebuilding Day: Once a year marquee event where we bring together hundreds of volunteers and local corporate and faith-based sponsors to complete home repairs for a target neighborhood. Seasonal Revitalization: Volunteers from local businesses, schools, and churches provide exterior maintenance and yardwork for target neighborhoods. Heat the Town: We partner with local HVAC technicians to complete furnace repairs, replacements, and cleanings. We repair and replace water heaters and ensure there isproper ventilation.
