Provides assistance to taxpayers in handling disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The clinic offers free representation to taxpayers who are involved with IRS audits, appeals, and collection matters. In certain cases, the clinic represents taxpayers before the United States Tax Court. The clinic negotiates and resolves contested matters with the IRS. The clinic is staffed by law students who are trained in tax law and supervised by the clinic director who is a practicing tax attorney and faculty member.

Offers five fixed-route bus transit services to transport people within and around Lancaster with routes to Pickerington as well. Buses run along an established path at preset times picking up passengers at designated bus stops. *Route deviations of up to 3/4 of a mile from the designated routes can also be requested. Only one deviation is allowed per hour. Request must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Helps members process and deal with loss in their lives including breakups, death of a pet, unemployment, or any other situation that creates loneliness, saddness and isolation. Although this group is faciliated by a trained mental health professional, it is not inteded as a mental health treatment. It is a peer-directed community group created to provide mutual support and shared experience.

LSS 211 Central Ohio

Provides planning and zoning services for Claridon Township. Will hear appeals concerning variances to zoning regulations, investigate and respond to complaints regarding zoning resolutions, and issue zoning permits. After zoning permit is acquired, a building permit must be obtained from Geauga County Building Dept.

PASSPORT Medicaid waiver program (now includes the CHOICES Program) provides services in home and community settings to delay or prevent nursing facility placement. Services help preserve the independence of the individual, as well as maintain ties to family and friends. Services include, but are not limited to: Personal care, home-delivered meals, adult day care, homemaker, emergency response, medical equipment and supplies, chore, minor home modification and repairs, social work counseling, nutritional counseling, independent living assistance, and medical transportation. Participants also receive a Medicaid card that entitles them to Medicaid benefits including: physician care, hospitalization, prescription drugs and many other services.
