Provides information concerning Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and Guardians Ad Litem (GAL) who advocate for the best interests of children whose parents have become involved with the Juvenile Court due to issues of abuse, neglect, or dependency. CASA staff investigate the situation, conduct interviews with the family, then prepares reports for the Juvenile Court. Also offers training courses for community volunteers who wish to act in the role of the CASA.

Provides information on workers'/employers' rights and responsibilities under the federal law covering the continuation of health insurance for a minimum of 18 months following certain qualifying events (job loss, reduction in hours, etc) that cause an individual to lose eligibility for coverage. Continuation coverage is administered by the employer at group rates that are paid by the participant losing eligibility. Available to those working for US-based private employers of 20 or more employees. The Dept. of Health and Human Services (DHHS) covers public sector programs. In Ohio, employers of fewer than 20 employees are covered under a state continuation program administered by the Department of Insurance. A modified version of the federal program, restricted to workers who had been laid off between September 1, 2008 and May 31, 2010, was made law on Feb. 17, 2009.

Assists and supports victims of crime and natural disaters as well as the families of these victims. Crime does not have to be a violent crime (client could be a victim of a fraud or scam). Also provides assistance to witnesses. Provides emotional support, transportation and accompaniment to court, help finding safe housing, and advocacy with legal, medical, and social systems.

We teach and promote safe food practices, better nutrition, better finances and better relationships – helping people acquire the knowledge and skills to make smart decisions in these areas.

Day Shelter for the homeless they can come in to get showers, do a load of laundry and receive lunch. Free Breakfast is opened to anyone for a free meal. Offer furniture and clothing bank by appointment only. Also offer Sunday lunch meal. Emergency shelter only in the winter time from December till February for overnight stay but they have to leave in the morning.
