Provides temporary financial aid to those who make a conscientious effort to find a permanent solution to financial problems. Assistance will only be given to those who have a legitimate emergency or hardship as determined by the Veterans Service Commission, and meet the eligibility requirements established by the Ohio Revised Code. Intention to assist veterans and their dependents on a short-term basis until a permanent solution to their difficulties can be arranged.

Support servicesfor individuals who are former members of the armed forces, including emergency financial assistance and veterans benefits assistance. Can assist with rent, utilities food, and other things based on emergency.

Provides financial assistance to residents needing assistance with utilities, rent, and/or food.

United Community Assistance network (UCAN) offers financial assistance with rent and utilities on a case-by-case basis. Funds are very limited and may not always be available.

Rapid rehousing and homeless prevention for Veterans. Assist in locating housing, financially assists with first month rent and/or deposit, case management including budgeting and housing stabilization care plan.

Provides financial assistance and/or vouchers for short term basic needs to eligible Veterans and dependent survivors who demonstrate a need. Includes but is not limited to clothing, food, toiletries, utility payments, rent payments, mortgage payments, insurance payments, and property tax payments. NOTE: No immediate assistance is available.

Offers a maximum of $300 assistance (per year) in rent, utility bill (electric or gas), and prescriptions, based on availability of funding. Provides motel vouchers to transients within service area in need of emergency shelter, if funds are available. Assistance is available on a case-by-case basis.

Provides food, child care, Medicaid, cash, transportation, rent and utility assistance; child support enforcement; paternity establishment; child protective services; foster parent licensing and training; adult protective services.

Provides food and financial assistance for basic need food and utilities through the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Provides temporary financial assistance to indigent veterans, spouse's dependent children, and surviving widows. Also aids in filing claims and applying for benefits.

Provides temporary financial assistance to those experiencing economic hardship. Covers the following needs: * Mortgage/rent * Food * Utilities * Personal hygiene

Provides direct temporary emergency financial aid for Richland County veterans and their dependents who have met with an unexpected hardship.

Provides rent payment assistance when funds are available.

Provides emergency assistance to those in need when there is no other community resource available to help. May help with utilities (gas, electric, water); rent; and small home repairs. Generally, assistance is limited to $200-$300 (however, clients are not guaranteed to get this maximum amount).

Provides payment assistance with establishing housing for justice involved individuals. Assistance can be applied to rental deposit and/or first month's rent (does not help with past or on-going rent).

Provides emergency financial assistance to eligible Veterans and their spouses, dependent children, and surviving spouses who have demonstrated a need. Assistance may include rent, mortgage, utility bill payments, and personal hygiene items. Makes determination on a case-by-case basis by staff.

Provides temporary monthly rent payment assistance to eligible households interested in renting from a private landlord or rental agency. Participating households must pay at least 30% of their adjusted monthly income toward rent costs. The remaining rent costs will be paid by NKCAC on behalf of the household.

Provides utility assistance for electric and water, and rent assistance for those in need, up to $250. Funds may be limited at times and appointments fill up quickly.

Provides rent assistance to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Provides temporary financial assistance for veterans with minor children in which the veteran is eligible for membership in the American Legion. Financial assistance may cover the housing, food, utilities and health care expenses of eligible children.

Provides services for short-term emergency shelter assistance (motel vouchers), utility assistance (gas, electric, water), food pantry referral, job resources, housing assistance (rent), transportation expense assistance (new job before first paycheck only- within Wood County) and other temporary financial assistance.
