Provides emergency financial assistance for rent and utility bill payments. Funding is limited and may not always be available.

Provides aid to families in the form of a voucher to buy items or pay for emergency services related to establishing a household after the family has suffered a disaster. MAY BE USED FOR: rent payment and/or security deposit ($750 maximum), stoves and refrigerators (maximum $200); baby furniture; children's beds/mattresses (maximum $250), and children's clothing (up to $150 per child); replacement of adult clothing due to fire or flood (up to $225); general furniture (couch, table, etc. - up to $400). MAY NOT BE USED FOR: entertainment furniture (such as a TV or a radio), washers or dryers (unless it is essential for an applicant's employment or needed due to a disability), mortgage payments. YEARLY CASH LIMITS: $1,500 total during the calendar year (may be $750 for certain non-custodial parents).

Provides financial assistance to families with minor children to prevent their need for ongoing public assistance, retention of employment, or well being of the family. The PRC Assistance Group may be responsible for a co-payment toward requested services.

Offers financial assistance to eligible veterans and active military and their families. Not to be used as supplemental income.

Offers financial assistance to Vietnam Veterans from any U.S. military Service branches who are injured from combat. Assistance includes: - Housing Grants: provides modifications, repairs, and adaptive home updates. - Family Support Grants: offers financial assistance for rent or mortgage. - Medical Care Grants: offers financial assistance to pay expenses not covered by insurance or VA. - Transportation Grants: provides adaptive vehicle or modifications to existing vehicle and vehicle repairs.

Rent assistance may be provided for eligible veterans or their surviving spouses. Bills must be past due.

Offers emergency assistance based on 1 month’s bill. Persons needing more than one (1) month’s bill only with approval by staff, contingent on funds available. Must have disconnect notice Rent: Client must be at risk for homelessness *Client must demonstrate the ability to meet their need the next time it arises or be in process of meeting that need

Provides financial assistance to residents of Aurora in emergency situations. Will provide limited help with the following situations: utilities (gas, electric, heating fuel), rent, prescriptions and medical expenses, transportation for work purposes (car payments, gasoline, insurance). Other situations may be addressed at the discretion of the agency. NOTE: Agency is not able to help with mortgages (clients will be directed to other services that may help with the situation).

Provides emergency financial assistance for utility bill payments and rent payments. Funds are very limited and may not always be available.

Provides financial and other supports to eligible young adults to assist in finding and maintaining safe and secure housing (possibly rent, deposit, and/or gas, electric or water utilities), food, clothing, personal care items, educational and training expenses, and other services that assist with transitioning from foster care to adulthood. Service includes regular meetings with a case manager to help direct the young adult and oversee payments for services. Assistance may be provided as long as the young adult remains eligible.

Provides rent/mortgage assistance up to $100.00.

Provides assistance with food, shelter (rent or mortgage), utility bills (gas and electric), principal car payments, and other needed services for veterans, active duty military, and dependent survivors. Assistance is in the form of vouchers. Amount of assistance is based on demonstrated need. Also available to make community presentations about these services.

Non-recurring, emergency benefits to help families meet basic needs and/or sustain employment.

Provides housing assistance and other services for Veterans. Can help cover rental arrearages, first-month rent, security deposits and other needs such as utility assistance, moving costs and budgeting.

Arranges transportation for Medicaid clients to and from Medicaid-covered services.

Provides assistance with rent or mortgage payments (no rental deposits). Maximum amount of assistance given is at the agency's discretion. All approved clients will create a budget plan with a caseworker.

Provides assistance with food, shelter (rent or mortgage), utility bills (gas and electric), principle car payments, and other needed services for Veterans, active duty military, and dependent survivors. In some cases, may assist with indigent burial. Assistance is in the form of vouchers. Amount of assistance is based on demonstrated need.

Provides financial assistance to residents needing assistance with utilities, rent, and/or food.

Financial assistance will be considered for transient lodging and/or housing when funding is available.

Provides electric, heating, water bill payment assistance, rent and mortgage assistance, and temporary financial assistance.

May be able to match individuals and families with rent assistance programs available in their area or refer to other programs.

Provides emergency assistance to those in need when there is no other community resource available to help. May help with utilities (gas, electric, water); rent; and small home repairs. Generally, assistance is limited to $200-$300 (however, clients are not guaranteed to get this maximum amount).
