Takes reports of power outages or complaints about electric utilities service. Billing office takes calls regarding questions about billing and electric payments and inquiries from new customers in the area who need service.

Responds to reports of downed power lines, power blackouts or safety hazard conditions, such as downed wires that may be sparking or near water, downed poles or trees that have fallen on power lines. Responsible for repair of downed poles and wires, damaged electric meters, and damaged wires that go from the transformer to the weatherhead.

Responsible for the generation, transmission, sale and/or distribution of electricity to retail or end-use customers in some areas of Fairfield County.

Provides the community with electric, water, and sewer services as well as maintenance of streets.

Provides the residents and businesses of Cuyahoga Falls with transmission and distribution of electricity.

Presides over the Mayor's office, utilities, Greenlawn Cemetery, Mary Fate Park and local swimming pool.

AEP encourages its customers to make a plan and be prepared for potential emergencies.

Presides over: Mayor's office, municipally owned and operated water, sewer, and electric services; building and zoning permits; and Mayor's Court. Performs civil marriages in village hall or in the surrounding area.

Identifies customers who use certain electrically operated life sustaining medical equipment in their home and helps these customers prepare for planned and unplanned power outages.

Operates the city water and sewer departments for the city of Amherst. Bills water, sewer, and electric. Monitors water quality; reads meters; repairs water service lines, main lines, meters and hydrants. Provides residential and commercial water taps, manages the water tower and protects the resident’s overall water quality. Monitors sewage collection and flow, repairs and maintain sewer lines, monitors and maintains lift stations, and facilitates municipal sewage removal.

Customer Service Center for AEP customers. Answers questions regarding service, billing, account information or if a person needs to report service problems. Can assist in setting up new service, changing name and/or address or transferring service. Provides information on various budget plans offerered by AEP including the one-third and one-sixth payment schedules. Also offers information on military family extended payment program.

Electric utility company. First Energy Ohio Edison is responsible for the street lights in the city of Mansfield.

Operates a member-owned, member-controlled nonprofit electric distribution utility located in North Central Ohio.

The Special Reconnect Order allows Ohioans, who are served by PUCO-regulated electric and natural gas utilities, to pay $175.00 to maintain, restore, transfer, or establish service, from October 13, 2025, through April 15, 2026. If service has already been disconnected, the utility can require a reconnection fee of no more than $36.00 upfront to restore service, during normal business hours. The company may bill the remainder of the reconnection fee, if applicable. To establish or transfer service, Ohioans can pay $175.00 in lieu of their security deposit. Any remaining amount would be added to the following billing cycle. Customers can pay the fee themselves, or apply for the Winter Crisis Program, if eligible, through their local energy assistance provider for a maximum benefit of $175.00. Ohioans who use the Special Reconnect Order are required to enroll in an extended payment plan for their remaining balance. Regulated natural gas and electric companies are required to offer the One-Sixth, One-Ninth, and One-Third payment plans, and PIPP Plus/Graduate PIPP Plus.
