WMCAP serves are representative payee for those who receive social security benefits and need help managing his/her money WMCAP must be informed about the beneficiary's needs so the case manager can decide how benefits can be used for his/her personal care and well being. The case manager must ensure that the beneficiary's day to day needs for food and shelter are met Benefits may then be used for personal needs such as clothing, recreation or other expenses.

SEOLS provides advice and representation for tenants who live in private or subsidized housing. Our goal is to preserve and improve the quality of the tenant’s home. Legal services are provided in the following areas: - Evictions - Fair housing - Security deposits - Issues with the condition of rental properties - Section 8 Voucher terminations - Mortgage foreclosures - Tax foreclosures.

Teaches individuals to read credit reports, develop a balanced household budget, increase savings, and set financial goals.

Provides programming from a Chabad - Chassidic philosophy to assist family members, couples, and individuals to understand preparation for marriage, home maintenance traditions, sexual relations, child development and money management. Rabbis provide one-to-one, couples, or family counseling on a variety of problem areas.

Provides services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Clark and surrounding counties. Services include: assistance to deaf individuals who need help understanding and managing tasks that require English, such as bills, letters and phone calls, working with bureaucratic entities such as HUD and OJS, and appointments (e.g. with a doctor); basic adult education groups to improve daily living skills such as managing money, health equity, navigating transportation, and making effective use of technology; vocational assistance to those who would like help finding employment; social events to communicate with one another prevent isolation; and workshops open to deaf and hard of hearing and family and friends on issues of importance to the deaf community.

Homeless Outreach and Case Management, Rapid Re-housing, Emergency Assistance/Basic Needs, First Step Pregnancy Support, Social Work Counseling, HUD housing counseling including Foreclosure Prevention and Pre-purchase education, SSI/SSDI/SOAR Specialist, Prison Re-entry Case Management.

Provides information on the tax foreclosure process for those who have been notified that their property taxes are overdue and they are in danger of having their property foreclosed for non-payment. Can assist taxpayers needing to communicate with governmental bodies or with organizations who may have purchased taxpayers' overdue taxes from local governments and who may be in the process of foreclosing on the property.

Provides a program that manages income from a variety of sources, including, but not limited to, Social Security, veteran's benefits, and private pensions for individuals unable to handle their own financial matters. Service includes paying bills, budgeting, and meeting other financial obligations.

Offers mortgage foreclosure assistance for individuals and families who are in danger of foreclosure or have already been foreclosed upon. Provides counseling for clients who are facing foreclosure due to property tax defaults. Assesses each case and then determines if a staff or volunteer attorney can be assigned to the client.

Provides guidance in the many areas that can play a role in achieving goals for financial stability. Includes budget plan, savings plan, credit counselin, debt management plan, access to credit building tools, access to banking products.

Provides a home loan guaranty benefit and other housing-related programs to help veterans buy, build, repair, retain, or adapt a home for their own personal occupancy. Veterans Affairs (VA) Home Loans are provided by private lenders, such as banks and mortgage companies. VA guarantees a portion of the loan, enabling the lender to provide more favorable terms to veterans. In most cases, the mortgage is low interest and no down payment or mortgage insurance payments required. Will provide mortgage counseling to participating veterans who are having difficulties with paying their mortgage or who may already be in default. Mortgage counselors will provide information concerning the foreclosure process and what the veteran's rights and responsibilities are in that situation. Will attempt to seek solutions with the lender to help the veteran keep the home and will take complaints from veterans against their mortgage provider.

Provides free, one-on-one financial counseling by professionally trained coaches. Teaches individuals and families skills to budget, save, develop healthy banking relationships, and improve credit scores. Provides legacy planning to review and organize assets, review insurance and titles, and connect clients to free resources to prepare legacy planning documents. Also provides assistance with defaulted student loans.

Provides comprehensive services for current and potential homeowners, including first-time homebuyer programs, financial wellness counseling, down payment assistance, foreclosure prevention counseling.

Provides information and guidance regarding money management techniques and risk reduction for people who are having difficulty budgeting their money and meeting necessary monthly expenses.

Provides counseling and information to those in foreclosure or who are facing foreclosure. Will provide information concerning the client's rights and responsibilities and will attempt to work out solutions with lenders in an effort to save the home. Will provide information and counseling to those faced with foreclosure due to past due property taxes.

Provides one-on-one financial coaching and counseling, group-based and individual financial education services, group-based and individual job readiness training, soft-skills development, free tax preparation services, financial education and referrals, and access to public benefits applications and work supports through one-on-one Ohio Benefits Bank counseling.

Provides assistance with purchasing a home, including a homebuying workshop that includes information on the process of homebuying, explanation of duties involved in home ownership, review of sale agreements and loan documents and referral to programs that provide loans for purchase or renovation of a home. Agency provides housing counselors certified by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Following completion of the workshop, participants receive 1-on-1 homebuying counseling.

Assists with the management of social security income to ensure that payments are made for living expenses. Provides financial services including budget preparation, bill payment, money management, and account maintenance. Educates individual on making sound financial choices.

Provides advice and representation for those being evicted, foreclosed upon, locked out, having difficulty obtaining repairs from a landlord, or who have had utilities terminated. Advice and representation may also be available to those who wish to enforce special rules of subsidized housing, or those seeking assistance with land contract problems and housing discrimination matters. Provides a one-on-one program that can assist eligible individuals who are interested in purchasing a new home, opening a savings account, nontraditional banking services, improving credit scores, and financial education. Programs include instruction on using computers, setting up computer devices, resume development and review and online employment application assistance.

Provides individual and group counseling to those undergoing mortgage difficulties. Will counsel client on how to keep the home if possible. Will attempt to reach settlements and agreements with lenders. Also provides review of loan documents for those who are looking to purchase a home. If needed, will provide credit counseling. Does not provide legal assistance; cannot stop imminent Sheriff's auctions.

Offers free one-on-one counseling and group workshops on financial literacy topics Topics may include setting up a budget, understanding banking and credit, and homeownership preparation.
