Provides opportunity for eligible homeowners and commercial property owners who have fallen behind on their property taxes to make up the delinquent taxes through an installment payment plan. Participants who comply with the terms of the program will not be subject to the sale of their delinquent tax lien to a debt collection agency, nor will their property be offered at a Sheriff’s Sale. Those who comply with the terms of their tax payment plans will have the interest on their delinquent taxes forgiven.

Provides discounts on property tax for property of any owner who is at least 65 years of age, permanently and totally disabled and whose total annual income (including spouse's income) is not over $30,000. Applicant must own and reside in the home for which they are applying. Land contracts, life estates, and trusts meet the criteria for home ownership. Total income is determined by the adjusted gross income from an applicant's federal income tax form. Application period is the first business day in January to the first Monday in June.

Will provide forms and information for schools, churches, charities, and other public-use facilities applying to become exempt from property taxes, but applications must be filed with the State Department of Taxation, not the County Auditor.
